Surprisingly awful service. Do not recommend for a group event/celebration.
My husband called a week in advance to inquire about reservations for a large group (20) for my birthday. They stated that their reservation system was down and would be out of service for several weeks but we would have no issues just walking in on a Saturday between 3-5pm.
Upon arriving we were asked if we had a reservation (confusing considering they didn't allow us to make one). We were placed on a waiting list meanwhile other guests started taking up vacant tables in the patio. I asked whether we could sit in the patio while we waiting for a table with a sever to open up. We were told we could sit there and order drinks from the bar but if possible to wait to order food. We were not quoted a wait time.
My group began ordering drinks (only 2 per person allowed) and finger foods to snack on as we had hungry children with us. After some time, I followed up and asked for an estimated time for table. They said that they could seat some of us (12) in the meanwhile while they waited for another table to open up. A large table next to ours cleared out but for some reason they refused to seat us there and instead separated the table into two. They claimed that table has a different server. The host then approached us and let us know our server was complaining because our group had already ordered food and drinks. I explained that we had been waiting and were hungry. He then asked how much more I thought we would be ordering because she wanted to make sure it was worth her while. I was baffled by this. The audacity to ask such a thing. I've never had such a ridiculous encounter. Mind you we still were waiting for our server to come take our order. If she was so concerned about making money, you'd think she would be more attentive but instead she ignored us and assumed we were just there to take up tables. I approached the host to complain about the fact that we were waiting to order and he directed me to the manager who was not helpful in the least. All he said was he would look into it and he never followed up. The waitress finally began taking out orders and was very slow to come around and check back on us.
stars for food and drinks. Food was good, portions were larger than expected and drinks are always great! Bathrooms were out of paper and trash bins overflowing.
All in all a highly...
Read moreI have been here many a times, sans children. And Have always thought what a great spot this would be to bring kids to—I was sorely mistaken. Here’s why: 1. You have to see a hostess to be seated in the children’s play area/seating area, FACT: you do have to see the hostess, but she will tell you it’s open seating. You will hover like a vulture as people finish there desserts only to have said table taken by a more aggressive family. 2. There are games for kids, FACT: yes, there are games but you have to deal with a lord of the flies type situation, if you have a child under the age of 7. The kids 7 and up rule the play area like little gestapos dictating over who can play and not play. 3. There’s a kids menu. FACT: there is a kids menu that contains all of 2 items. Pasta and frozen Costco pizza. AND don’t you dare order apple juice. It WILL come in a glass bottle, and it will cost you $5. Your two year old will immediately back wash in it, because the hostess who brought you your food, and promised to bring a kids “cup” never will.
LAST: the service is lack luster. And if you want to Get out of there because your ticking time bomb of a 2 year old is ready to leave, they will punish you and make you wait for your check and THEN make you wait to sign your bill. There will be a dog there sniffing your butt and food the entire time you eat, until you decide to throw fries in his general direction. The beer is good, the food is random, the servers are annoyed they have to be there, and let’s not kid ourselves the loud music isn’t enough to drown out the bedlam that is the children’s play area. Not impressed...
Read moreLongest brewery review by me, ever - We went for a good evening of brewery beer. The hostess informed we can sit anywhere and we sat at the patio the server will attend us. We said ok, took the table and sat down. And then we thought of taking a look at the taps and started walking towards. The hostess came running & said oh you cannot go to the bar, you have to order at the table. I said let me see what’s available and taste, then I’ll come back and order. She started saying no you cannot do that. I said I’ll be back, she got angry and said you cannot you have to taste and order from the table itself. I was like thinking, is this some school ? For gods sake!! Gimme a break, just let me choose my beer in peace and get a seat where I please 🙏 she was like oh then you have to sit where the umbrellas are !! I was so pissed by then, I said OK. I went and ordered at the bar, the guy at the bar said, kitchens closing you should order food now. We said ok, and ordered a pizza. He asked where are we seated at, we were like we are still thinking. He said, you can sit anywhere, the servers will leave soon so it should not be an issue. Now this lady comes back and says, that’s not ok. I said you guys sort it & she comes back and says I will do an exception once! I was like sure coz I’m not coming back ! And to top it all out pizza never came. My token no is still waiting ! Rudest staff ever. Especially the hostess at entrance, maybe someone should...
