The new parking lot and drive-through design is TERRIBLE! You cannot exit at 59th AVE. The only exit is to go West on Thunderbird. The service was SLOW! I submitted a mobile order, I pulled right up to an attendant and I was the 3rd car from the "window". From the time I arrived at the drivethrough, to leaving with my order was 11 minutes. The new design seemed to eliminated the pickup window, and instead they have folding doors so an employee can step out and hand you your order. The folding doors seemed to also have a "window" built in, but they were folded back and I was curious. So I asked the black shirt employee (black shirt signifies a chick-fil-a manager or director), "Hi, I'm curious if you ever use the window...[confused look from black shirt]...maybe when it's hotter out or not lunch rush?"...She (black shirt) just said "No. We use the doors." (still looking kind of confused). I gave her my feedback that it seemed to make the whole process slow (implying that having an employee take 2 steps back and forth to hand people their order wasn't very efficient). Black shirt then just gave me a sarcastic laugh..."HA HA".
I drove off knowing I have no reason to return to this location. There are 3 other chick-fil-a's in the general area.
Final Score: 1 STAR • MINUS 1 star for SLOW SERVICE. (11 minutes) • MINUS 1 star for rude manager ("HA HA") • MINUS 1 star for problematic entrance and exits (just plan to drive an extra block if you live any direction other than west) • MINUS 1 star for HIGH PRICE ($11 for a 12 piece...
Read moreAt the time when everything in our country is going crazy, it was so nice to find so much comfort in an unexpected place. My 92 year old mother-in-law needed to be moved from her retirement community to our house for her safety. She lives very close to this location and was concerned she would not get her Chick-fil-A treat that my husband takes her to often. As a surprise, I decided to go and pick her up food and bring it back to our house so she would have some form of normalcy. I was beyond shocked at how well this location was set up to move people through the drive thru. I was first greeted by Kalifornia for our order, passed along to the next gal to pay, another move forward for my receipt, and finally a pick up of my food. Every employee was happy and things moved so fast I just couldn't believe it. I'm so sorry that I only remembered one name. I told each one of them how much i appreciated them. When I got to the window, I saw a gentleman not wearing a red shirt and assumed he was the manager. The gal told me he was the owner. First of all, I was so impressed that he was there and in it with his employees and I'm sure offering prayer and support too. I asked to speak to him to let him know how great his place is and the people there all had such great hearts. We live far away from this location, but I will be driving there to get my mother-in-law her food that she loves. You guys are all a blessing to the people you serve. Keep up...
Read moreThe owner, Mr. Troy Seavers, harassed my Mom and I and would not allow us to leave his store.
When he continued on stating how he is the owner of the store and he can do as he pleases, I asked him if I could leave the store and I specifically asked him to leave my Mom alone.
At which point Mr. Troy Seavers continued to harass my Mom and I and would not allow us to leave the store.
After attempting to explain to him that I did not want to do this now, and that it was not a good time because...
A: It's Friday. B: I'm overtired. C: My Mom REALLY DISLIKES your parking lot.
Mr. Troy Seavers actually called Glendale Police Department on me because I did not want to have a talk with him at 6:45 p.m. on a Friday.
I am sorry Mr. Troy Seavers, but if this is how you treat your regulars who come in every night. I tell your crew Happy Monday, Happy Tuesday, Happy Wednesday, Happy Thursday, Happy Friday, Happy Saturday - but because you couldn't have the control and force me to stay on your property you have banned me from your Chick-fil-A.
Not only are you a terrible business owner, but you are control freak.
What is really funny is this week it was exceptionally empty at Chick-fil-A where we were the only car in there two or three times.
I guess your customers don't matter that much, huh?
I'm sorry that I was overtired, but I do not owe you an explanation.
Good day to you, and best of wishes...
