Don Chuy's Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Glendale

We were here at 4pm. There were 8 of us. 5 adults and 3 kids. We were the only one in the restaurant and the service was painfully slow. The kids ordered nuggets and fries( I know right?) but they didn’t get they’re food at the same time. The food came out slowly. 30 minutes from order to the first plate being served. Our food was getting cold waiting for everyone to get their food. The food was so overpriced! I ordered the 2 orders of (4) birria tacos $18 (each) and found out it didn’t come with rice and beans. For that price. 2 orders of nuggets and fries. 2 aguas and 2 sprites came to $78 fkn dollars!!!! Are you kidding me. It was hot all through the restaurant. No A/C or even an evap cooler. This was the worst Mexican restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Stay away unless you wanna get robbed for average quality Mexican food. I thought I would give a local place a chance. And yes I am Mexican. No volveré...

They don’t verify that the person picking up the order is the person who placed it. I order through delivery through DoorDash and when the dasher arrived the restaurant said someone with the exact same name picked up the order. Funny thing is, I used my husband’s account and my husband’s name is Ongela. Pronounced: (On-juh-lay) and there’s literally no other man with that name. They just let someone leave with my food. I’ve never submitted a review but this was the worst food I’ve ever tasted! I Ordered 5 separate plates with different foods through UberEats and everything was bland, tasteless and with some other weird taste! Only the beans were fine though not good enough either! Nothing was worth how expensive everything was even the drinks! Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed! This place deserves 0 stars! Please don’t waste...
