Giant Manhattan Pizza & Pastas left me with mixed feelings after my recent visit, ultimately earning a 3 out of 5 stars.
From the outside, it looks like a typical little pizza restaurant, which gave me a cozy, neighborhood vibe. However, the interior was a bit of a letdown. It felt outdated and old-fashioned, with a slightly dusty atmosphere. This took away from the overall dining experience.
On a positive note, the guy at the cashier was nice and friendly, which added a bit of warmth to the otherwise lackluster environment.
As for the food, it was quite average. The wings came out cold, and the fries were just okay. The friend zucchini my wife she actually enjoyed. The pizza showed some promise—it wasn't the worst I've ever had, but it definitely fell short of being the best. It seemed like it might have potential depending on the time of day or who’s cooking, but it certainly didn’t live up to my expectations.
Given my experience, I'm unsure if it's worth a second visit. While there were some positives, the overall mediocrity of the food and the outdated ambiance might make me...

Read moreGotta love little family-run hole-in-the-wall places this joint right here. The food is QUALITY especially for the price. You can get a pizza slice the size of your forearm, 5 wings, and a drink for only $11! Are you kidding me?! You cannot beat a kind of deal like that.
And the flavor is amazing. They really shine on their pizza, which they should. The crust is crispy and has a great char on it adding to the flavor of whatever kind of pizza you get. The cheese tastes fresh and of great quality.
The wings can be a little saucier than most other places. But you can just dip your pizza in that extra sauce and amp up that flavor experience.
I've been there multiple times and at least twice I've heard a customer tell whoever is running the cash register how amazing their food is. You got regulars like me coming there pretty much every week. Not many pizza places in Phoenix can boast about that.
If you're ever in the area, don't miss out on a great slice of...
