Hing Loon Chinese Express — Restaurant in Glendale

Ordered carry out because ming-gee was closed. I arrived very fast. Within the 10 minutes. I ordered general tso. It was in a Styrofoam container and soggy. Not saucy so nothing for the rice to soak up. I also ordered beef lo mein noodle. It smelled like burnt oil in the car. Before I even opened the bag I knew I made a mistake. The beef noodles and chicken tastes like old shrimp. Yuck. $20 went right into the garbage. Nothing is getting this burnt taste out of my mouth after just 3 bites. Its like I just licked an ashtray. I will give credit where credit is due, I returned the food and they gave me a refund after trying to pretend they couldnt find my CC slip. Absolutely unproffessional service. Some minor details about my experience : I called asking for certain menu items for certain prices, the speaker told me i was looking at an old menu and gave me even higher prices. I told him i'd call him back with what i wanted to get next and hung up. When I called back , my phone conversation went exactly like this..: Speaker: greeting script Myself: Hi I would like to place an order for delivery. Speaker: Okay whats your address? I have been ordering from this place for over a year and get the same thing everytime delivered. Today I called and the man was so rude. He said that I needed to order 15 dollars I more for delivery, when I was trying to explain that I have ordered for delivery in the past and it has been the same thing, he cut me off and raised his voice and said and you need to order more!!
