First time at this location. I was the only customer at first in the store. When I walked in it looked like 5-6 employees worked there. The girl asked me what I wanted after a very awkward amount of time I waited to be greeted. It was obvious the staff only wanted to have pick up orders because it was annoying to have a live customer in front of them. I gave my order and nothing else was said to me. No one started my sandwich. The girl who took my order told it to someone else that I never saw rest of time there. I went and sat down due to the awkwardness of the situation and how the staff in general were. After awhile the original girl who asked my order wanted to know what I wanted on my sandwich. I said Mikes way and she loaded it and I mean loaded it with vinegar which I did not want it like that. Instead of bacon strips that would normally come on sandwich she gave me bacon crumbles but it was a tiny amount and I could not taste it on my sandwich later when I ate it. I was shocked to see another person making a sandwich and she lifted the bacon tray to get the bacon crumbles in the grease drip pan because again they were out of bacon. Gross. It took them 15 minutes for my two sandwiches. No one else was there. When I was leaving a man came in and the girl who was fishing out bacon from the grease drippings greeted an older gentleman. She asked a question but was rubbing her face and the man was waiting for her to repeat herself. It was hard to hear in there. He looked annoyed and I laughed to myself thinking this was probably not the last of the awkward moments he was going to have before leaving the store. My sandwich was not good but my boyfriend’s was fine he said. I will NEVER go back to this location. I have been going to another location in Phoenix and it seems like they too are extremely long in getting out orders. I thought I would try a new location but regretted it immediately. I think the division manager should focus on food quality and most importantly customer service and experience. The stores in Ohio are not like this at all. I have only had amazing service at every store I...
Read more03/25: I was sitting outside waiting for an order to pop up on my phone in the parking lot with a jersey mikes and then some random guy comes and stands next to the car that I am parked next to and proceeds to start watching me. So I asked him if I could help him and he said that he was security for the plaza and all this extra stuff and I specifically asked him if I was doing anything wrong, if he thought I was gonna hurt someone or anything and he said no but he was still standing there watching me. Then a guy from smoke city comes over and does the same thing thinking he’s Batman trying to save the day and threatens to call the cops on me and have me arrested for loitering and trespassing, which I wasn’t, and that he would have my car towed. Come to find out, I actually ended up calling the cops first and he didn’t not til 5 minutes later. I guess the employees thought I was going to do something to them and they got all scared but when I left after I picked up my first order they said something about me that I heard and I walked back in and told them that I heard that. The employees that work there shouldn’t have opened their mouth in the first place because it’s real rude to talk behind a customers back ESPECIALLY when they...
Read moreWe come to this location often. This last visit was 1/24/25. There is always new people, which is to be expected from fast food. However, the last 3 visits, the staff, all the staff, touch E with the same set of gloves. The meat, the bread, the knife, the paper, the cash register, the money. I gently tried to encourage the staff to change their gloves and they did, but begrudgingly. This last visit, there was a female cleaning. She was as wiping the area where they prep sandwiches, with our order on the tray. She tried to move the giant sandwich with her dirty gloved hand. I immediately stopped her. She looked at me, shook her head and took her gloves off and then kept cleaning without them. The male making out sandwiches, finished moving different things around, changed his gloves and continued prepping out food. It doesn't appear they get the concept that wearing gloves is good, but you need to change them often. I know there is a food prep course that food service workers take, but the crews at this location don't...
