Kings Lounge LA — Restaurant in Glendale

Lovely place - mostly patio sitting with sofa sections, tables/chairs, even a couple of chairs on swings! Even a large table that would easily fit 10. Portions good and food flavorful - we were a group of 7, and everyone liked what they ordered. Even able to do separate checks easily/efficiently. We got a salad and kabob wrap, others got a burger, fish tacos, and turkey/avo sandwiches.

Service was good, but there was some lag. We weren’t the only large group on the patio, and we arrived (arguably) post lunch time so the one server was rushed a bit. This is more of an observation-not a complaint. We did not feel overlooked. Bright colors, everything in good shape, comfortable seating, nice tables. Lovely decor.

There is a very small parking lot, but on that Sat afternoon at about 1, no one had to park more than half a block away. All in all, I’m remembering this place for any group eating we do - it ticks all the boxes (food variety,...

It looks simple enough. Then you notice the nice tables inside and outside. The music is a mix. I mean Middle East to hip hop. Not blaring, it sits beautifully in the background.

My two sides were hugely generous in portions. The pita bread came three in a basket, hot.

The main meal was several layers of wonderment. My Salmon was juicy and fresh and it's natural flavor a delight to my senses. There was placed on my platter of exotic rice, four portions of salmon sans skewer surrounded by slim moons of potato scalloped chips lightly seasoned but no salt. Underneath the fish were morsels of black olives tomatoes red onion slivers.

The love of food and passion for presentation by the chef and owner was severely evident. I thanked him in translation as he spoke no English.

What a truly wonderful place! The Interrior is very cute and romantic! We sat outside and enjoyed it for 2 hours. Lots of room, very cozy ! The manager and stuff are so amazing and here for you any time! They made our experience the next level😻. The food is - OMG - so so so delicious! And was presented in such a beautiful arrangement , this is one of a kind experience! We had a great lunch with girls, we didn’t want to leave and kept ordering more and more, everything was just that good. We definitely will be back.
