I called Pizza Hut located on Central in Glendale and a guy picked up the line and unprofessionally said, “pizza hut.” I thought in training they maybe teach answering the phone line, “Pizza Hut, my name is .. how can I help you?” That was red flag #1. Red flag #2 he asked if I could hold, which I then knew this was the same guy who kept me on hold a previous time without ever coming back to the line. Just sat it down, as I can hear the entire background of him doing absolutely nothing. My guess was right, he never picked the phone back up. I called again, he answered, “Pizza Hut.” I said, is it okay if I can order now. He takes my order. I immediately told myself, “check your food before paying.” Oh, to back up I ordered a personal pan pepperoni. Red flag #3 I got to the store and he tried charging me $7.70 for a personal pan. I didn’t say anything because at this point the guy is showing he’s just miserable. And misery loves company. Before paying, I checked my food and there is literally NO cheese and only has two pepperoni’s. I didn’t pay, asked for his name and left. Dude, if you are unhappy where you work LEAVE. Don’t represent a franchise pizza company because you have personal issues. I’m simply a customer ordering food. Why be rude, and unprofessional. You’re mad because I’m making you push buttons on a cash register, and the unknown chick who was making the pizza is just as bad. FIND ANOTHER JOB if you don’t want to deal with people who ORDER FOOD lol. Like wth. I can understand if I was rude. Maybe you should be doing janitor duties. Customer service isn’t your best as this is the second time dealing with this unprofessional employee. Read moreTonight I called Pizza Hut to order a pizza. I have ordered from this Pizza Hut many times and I kid you not each time they got the order wrong. When I called, A man answered the phone and I proceeded to place my order. He had a very nasty attitude and at the end of the call he hung up on me after me asking for his name. I asked him “what’s your name” very politely and he responded verbatim “ that doesn’t really matter” before he promptly hung up the phone. I was two minutes away from the restaurant and proceeded to go into the restaurant and ask for the name of the person who literally treated me so horribly over the phone. I was greeted by a person by the name of Ellen Who claimed to be a manager. She too was extremely rude and nonchalant and she said I don’t know who you talked to but it could’ve been anyone of us. She literally had the nastiest attitude that I have ever experienced in any customer service position of my lifetime. She did nothing to make the situation better and when I asked her to go ask around who literally just took my order two minutes ago she said “no”. Read moreI placed an order for delivery here, and an hour later I called the store to check in on the order. The manager said they needed to cancel my order and asked for my credit card information on the phone to place another order. He also offered for me to place a second order on the pizza hut app if I wasn't comfortable giving him my credit card information. (Obviously, I was not comfortable with that). It was odd that in an hour of waiting, with the charge having gone through on my bank, and the app showing the order as being processed, I wasn't given a call or any notification that my order was cancelled. Overall, a weird experience.
