This place is delicious!
Walking into Lito’s Mexican Restaurant felt like being wrapped in a warm embrace, a promise of good things to come, and oh, did they deliver! We were greeted by the friendliest gentleman who, upon hearing it was our first visit, took his time to walk us through the menu with such enthusiasm, you could tell he loved what he did. This wasn’t just dining; it felt like being welcomed into a family meal.
The food was the star of the show. I found myself in a love affair with a red tamale, while the rice, beans, chips, and salsa were like the perfect supporting characters in this culinary drama. Every bite was a testament to the authentic flavors and care put into their food.
My husband, meanwhile, tackled the monster chicken burrito and between bites, managed to declare it “amazing”. It’s not every day you see him so impressed.
What truly touched us was the server’s apology for what he called a “long” wait – which, honestly, hadn’t felt long at all. It’s the small gestures of care that set Lito’s apart. The food arrived steaming hot, a clear sign of their commitment to serve the best.
Our lunch at Lito’s wasn’t just about trying out a new restaurant; it was an experience, a journey to a place where food is made with passion and served with love. The vibrant flavors, the warm welcome, and the cozy atmosphere have left a lasting impression on us.
To anyone pondering where to dine next, let me say this: Lito’s is more than a meal; it’s a place where memories are made, and taste buds are forever spoiled. Five stars aren’t enough to capture the...
Read moreGlendale native of 43 years I grew up eating at all the local restaurants (even Josie's on 55th and Ocotillo for those who remember) throughout the Glendale area. Lito's is by far my all time favorite. Not only is the food consistently delicious, but the entire family here truly cares about making the absolute best tasting and freshest food around. You are always greeted with a smile and asked about your day while your food is being prepared to perfection. Red burritos have always been my "go to" at any restaurant, but this is honestly the first place that I've ever eaten at where I will order a green instead; Not to take away anything from the red burros, they're still in my all time top 3, but the green are seriously that good. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some incredible food served by a very polite and friendly...
Read moreOur friends who live very close to here recommended this restaurant to us. And they were correct food here is to die for. They do not have a wide variety of choices and they do not have carne asada tacos but what they do offer is amazing!! I always get the monster burrito. I rarely get the rice and bean on the side at other mexican food restaurants I always go al a cart. But their rice and beans are so amazing, to die for. I always get them. The rice is always fluffy ( seriously that's the only word I can think of) and the beans nearly melt-in-your-mouth I have never ate beans and rice that tasted so good. I don't know the young man's name who always takes my order but he is the best you can tell he's a hard worker and very proud of what he has I believe it's his family's restaurant. Anyway everybody should go here and support...
