Lucky's Pizza — Restaurant in Glendale

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. The service was absolutely terrible, I have never been treated like that in my life. We order for delivery wanted to try something new, we liked the prices and they had quite a few options. We were wrong on so many levels. We get our pizza in a reasonable time but come to find out all of our extras, ranch and garlic butter, were completely wrong. The ranch was filled up maybe a quarter of the way and instead of getting two garlic butters we get a garlic butter and a cup full of garlic salt. Okay? So we call so we can let them know only to be told that we were wrong. We asked if it would be extra for the ranch and garlic butter and they said yes, only to be told later that we were never charged for it, even though our total clearly had those extra charges. As if that wasn't bad enough, you know telling us that what we are looking at is wrong, we get hung up on. My fiance called back immediately and told the man who claimed he was the manager that he was hung up on. The manager continued to YELL "She did not hang up on you! Don't say that!" After still trying to explain why we were upset my fiance gets frustrated and ends the call. Not being our first run in with bad customer service, although this one takes the cake, we were still going to sit down and eat because we are all hungry. The food was horrible. The wings tasted like they were cooked for twenty minutes too long and the pizza just didn't taste good at all. We are pizza people, we usually like any pizza put in front of us! As if the bad customer service wasn't bad enough, the food was terrible too! I wanted my money back. So this time I call and speak to the "Manager". He recognizes my story as "Oh the man who was yelling a lot?" Let me just say, he didn't yell once, he got frustrated but never yelled. I continue to tell him that despite the customer service we were still going to sit down to our meal but it all tasted bad and I wanted my money back. He kept saying "Oh yes, I know" when I would tell him what was wrong. He kept interrupting me as I was trying to explain the problem. Finally he agreed on giving my money back, but he made sure to tell me he wouldn't pay the driver or give him gas money. IT WAS HIS MISTAKE!!!!! I am livid and will never be returning. I will tell everyone I know NEVER to go to...

We were in Seabrook Texas, visiting my Aunt & Uncle. We got a nail in the tire of our rental car and went to a Firestone to get it fixed. It was a Saturday and they were busy, it was going to be a couple of hours. We walked across the street and found a Pizza restaurant, as we were eating, the delivery driver came through and told us they deliver too. We told him we lived in Peoria Az, his response was the owner used to live in the Phx area and had a restaurant in the area before he moved to Texas. The owner came out (Mario) and told us his brother (Benny) owned a pizza restaurant in Glendale Az, at 67th ave & Cactus road, I said Lucky's Pizza, 1/2 mile from my house. He said do you know him? I said no, but we have had Pizza there before. We took a picture with my cell phone, with Mario and he said to take it and show it to my brother and have him make a Pizza for you. We took the picture in and told him our story, we have been going back ever since.

Benny treats us like family and we have never been disappointed. Today, I had a Calzone and my girlfriend had Chicken Parmesan, most excellent! To the people who left bad reviews, I would say everyday is a good day, just some days are better than others. Walk right in nobody was in the place my kinda of atmosphere!!!!!!! Love having the place to myself!!!!!! So 5 stars for atmosphere!!!! Asked the dude what was ready??? Said pizza!!! Cool 2 slices with sausage. Cool like 7 minutes . What you said it was ready...... Cool. So I watch the guy make a fresh pie. Like a pro no throwing in the air. Just straight pro!!!! Fresh Marinara and sausage. So I'm like bro y'all make fresh garlic knots. Yeah like 10 minutes. Cool I'll come back...

So I come back and the dude is pulling out the oven. And brakes me up and puts something out a tin... Bro extra gravy for them knots.... Whats gravy????? What bro your new York... Italian . Gravy... Fine marinara..... Hahaha..

Get home open the knots and bro no garlic just parsley butter ....... But good.

But the sausage pie!!!!!!! Flipping outstanding. The undercarriage was perfect stable but soft. Bro reminds me of my childhood pizzeria!!!! The homemade sausage the sauce the flavor of the deck!!!! Flipping bomb!!! Worth the drive for a show!!!! Pies... Pizza are made scratch in front of you and the oven!!!!! Bro any truly amazing pizza joint should have a fantastic...
