1 * one star is too much. I went there because I was cold and I wanted some hot chocolate and then I thought I'll take a hot fudge sundae home to my daughter. It stupid me I go to here. After 20 minutes in the line after 11 pm and people we're not happy because I could hear them all complaining in front of me and behind me saying the service wasn't good... but i nevet ever had a problem in my life before...I get to the window after he took my money that was no problem there he hands me a cup of vanilla ice cream with a drop of hot fudge on it and he told me that was normal after i questioned and I said not in my experience really but oh well then they had me the hot chocolate and there's no whip cream on it and I asked for whip cream and they acted very put out and mocked me and I'm like wow I cannot believe how you guys are acting and she's like, ma'am, very smart alec like. We gave you what you asked for and she was real smart-alecky about it so I drove off... thinking I will never come back. And I might have given a review... but then I tasted the hot chocolate and it was white milk so I got back in the line waited another 10 minutes ask for my money back I will post the tape here to and they mocked me and told me I could come back tomorrow or they have me arrested they call the police cuz I was causing an issue after they took the items away from me and I have that on tape and I'll post it here phone is dying but I have a tape I will post later if it dies of the guy mocking me and telling me I could come back tomorrow if I want my money back so I basically left with melted vanilla ice cream and he took the...
Read moreDrive thru. We ordered 2 quarter pounder meals and a happy meal for our daughter. They asked, "Boy or girl?" on the happy meal, that was a plus. We pulled up. The lady on the headset was standing with her back to us, window closed, for what seemed like an unusually long time. I asked my wife jokingly, "Should I knock?" Finally she turned around and took my credit card and handed it back without a word. We pulled up to the next window and got our drinks and the happy meal right away... then waited... and waited... and waited. A girl finally opened the window and said they were waiting on fries so we needed to pull up and park. When we parked my daughter informed us she got a boy toy. I know I gave them kudos for asking "Boy or girl?", but if they're not going to listen to the answer . . . Why ask? Since we had to wait for fries anyway my wife decided to go in and trade the toy. She came back out at the same time the guy delivered our quarter pounder meals. Our (COLD) quarter pounder meals. The ones with the COLD fries that we had to wait so long for.
Its McDonalds. It's not like we're going to quit going. Thankfully we are rarely in the 67th Ave & 101 area. It was just a fluke that stopped at this one and chances are we never will...
Read moreThis is a good store. It's near my son's home, so i only go here when visiting. I've never dined in at this location; however, on this visit (07/17/2021), we went inside to avoid the long drive-thru lines. The interior is small (no play area), and very neat and clean. My son used the kiosk, I ordered at the counter. The store was not busy inside at the breakfast hour of 10 AM. My wait for service was a minute or less. The associate was courteous and answered several questions without showing annoyance at them. He took my order and told me my coffee was brewing. It was a few minutes until the order was ready. My Sausage McMuffin w Egg sandwiches came first in about 2-3 minutes and the coffee drinks about a minute later.
The reason I like this store so much is that the food is always hot, delicious, accurately prepared, and the orders are not messed up. The store where I used to go, but no longer visit, was chronically disappointing. I limit my patronage of that store to purchases of drunks or food for others. This store, on the other hand, is a pleasure to visit-true to what one expected from McDonald's of the past. The one negative aspect of this store experience is long drive-thru lines. This is more an inconvenience...
