I love Kebab and every time I visit Glendale, I always order it. I usually go to Massis, but tried calling Mini Kebab and found out that they were sold out for the day. I asked my eye doctor who’s Armanian/ Russian for the recommendation and decided to try Pardis. On my way there, I passed by Massis, and their parking lot was full and the restaurant was jam packed at 6:30PM. When I got to Pardis, the restaurant was empty and there’s absolutely no customers there. I saw a few UberEats people picked up the orders from there, but that was it. I ordered beef Shish Kabab to go. It was $31. A little pricier than Massis, but I don’t mind paying more for a good quality food. I also tipped $5 in cash. When almost my food was ready, I asked for an utensil and was told they are out of it. How am I supposed to eat without fork and knife? I live 40 mins away from Glendale and I wanted to eat it inside my car. I was so hungry and upset that I demanded my $5 back! I asked for Tahini sauce but the server said that they used to have, but stopped having it, so they gave me jalapeno sauce instead. After I picked up my food, I ate some beef with jalapeno sauce and it has absolutely no taste/ flavors! Did chef forget to season with salt and pepper? I usually eat at Massis, not because they are cheaper but it tastes great every time. Massis never disappoint. They also have my favorite Tahini sauce. And the reason why their restaurant was packed at dinner time, because their food is actually really good. Just to review with a fairness, Pardis looks more upscale and actually their meat is better quality than Massis, and I like their homemade thin bread. It’s unfortunate, but I don’t recommend...

Food: one star😔Tahdig was just an absolute nightmare!🤢 Service: 4-5 starsšŸ˜ 3 stars overall is just for the service and the vibe which was spot on and a rarity for Persian restaurants. Unfortunately the food is way below average. The chicken kabob( Jujeh) was super dry and bland. Koobideh was tender but again with no flavor; even adding tons of sumac didn’t help to elevate the taste. Dill rice with fava beans ( Baghali polo) which is hard to mess up unless you have bad fava but here they did a miracle!!šŸ˜…To the point that apparently they used a very stale dry super cut dill with absolutely no favor left although I should give a credit to the rice alone. The nightmare was their Tahdig😱!! Just avoid it!!! It’s a big disgrace to Persian cuisine what they are serving! School and university buffets or even in a military you would get a better Tahdig! It was not even crispy! I got half and half ( green stew: Ghormeh, and Lentile stew: Gheimeh) on it that added to my misery . I am just happy they didn’t use marinara sauce for gheimeh. Both were totally off and super bland. Again good job with the amount of beef stews in it, but for the sake of God, add some seasoning to them and taste it once before serving it. I would not come back as one after one all the dishes were disappointing. Only thing that was right was the basil 🌿and home made bread that comes on complementary. šŸ˜If someone said this place was good, maybe it was but apparently they don’t have a consistency. Like maybe the chef has changed which I understand is a trend in most Persian restaurants after a while. If the chef is still the same, then, thanks, I respect your opinion and keep this food for those who don’t know...

WORST RESTAURANT EVER. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL . Even one star is a lot. For Mother’s Day We made reservations and before leaving I called to see if we could take our dog with us (small breed dog), I also requested we want to sit in the open area in the back of the restaurant. With a very heavy voice and unprofessional way the lady responded: No , dogs are not allowed and the open area in the back it’s all occupied and is no more room at all!!!! GUESS WHAT??????? when we went there and as soon as I took my first step in the restaurant A DOG CAUGHT MY EYES, with his owners. The waitress came to take our orders and he said we are running out of most of our foods and we don’t have this, and that….!!!! I asked tell me what you have so we can order that, and he ended up only with 3 type of order saying they had lots of orders and running out of foods . I told the waitress : BUT WE MADE RESERVATIONS,DON’T YOU THINK IF THERE IS NO CANCELLATIONS THAT MEANS THE COSTUMERS WILL SHOW UP. You should be prepared for these type of occasions. I ASKED the waitress are we allowed to bring smalL breed dog with us, cuz I called some lady SAYS NO AND I SPECIFICALLY ASK WE WANT TO SIT IN THE OPEN AREA SO I CAN BRING MY BABY. There wasn’t even one table occupied in that open area!!!!! And when I asked the waitress is that area reserved???? He said NOOOOOOO……. It’s just empty . They messed up big time. None of the employees in that restaurant are in the same page, very weak and poor management. We were so very disappointed and unhappy. Just for making them look good after all those conversations he brought us two sides for free. They test horrible, we just try them and put...
