Sleep Number — Hotel in Glendale

POOR SERVICE!!

My husband and I visited this store last week. As soon as I walked in the store, the old man approached me and was quite aggressive! I told him, that I wanted to look around first. He imminently had an bad attitude, he said something under his breath in his language and had a chip on his shoulder. He acted like he was doing me a favor. The last time I checked I was paying for my furniture. He acted like he was paying me! It is NOT the customers' fault, that he chose this career. Now he is taking it out on the PAYING costumers!

After looking around my husband and I asked him a few questions regarding the beds. However, when I asked my question he chose to ignore me. So I asked a 2nd time. He replied with an attitude " Well this is why I asked you if you had any questions when you walked in". My husband did NOT appreciate his tone with me at all! At that point my husband and I walked out. He must think that this is the way women are treated in this country! This old man obviously does not know the 1st thing about sales or customer service. He must think, that he will get sales with his nasty attitude. Well I wont be doing business at this location and I will certainly let ALL of my colleagues and friends know about my experience! If this is the way he treats "female paying customers", maybe it's time he returns to...

The Store is kept clean and it's well lit. The restroom could use some tidying. No toilet seats and the air vents need cleaning -a usual violation in most places. The mattresses on display could use newer or more clean cases. The personnel is very friendly and they know the importance of a great smile. They have good rapport among themselves and help each other out. It fell good to be helped without competition or bad attitude among themselves. I was greeted by Tom with a great smile who quickly showed me a couple of mattresses and other options. He was very knowledgeable of their products and prices. I have read many reviews on line and researched the product. It was time for me to buy a new mattress and besides my research the great customer service provided to me by Tom prompted me to do the purchase. The in-store credit financing and ease of the application process, made the decision making more pleasant. Looking forward to find my sleep number, enjoy the mattress, and flex-fit base. Changing the review from 5 stars to 2 stars after having the bed: I called a representative before buying, and he told me that I had to buy a bracket from them which costs $40. When the headboard arrived, I realized that I shouldn't have bought the support because it is already included in the headboard. As I told, I bought a headboard as well. I followed all the instructions in the Headboard Assembly Guide, but when the headboard is attached to the bed, my adjustable base doesnt work properly - the headboard obstructs the movement of the base (up and down). I called them and requested a professional to come here at no cost bc this is a product problem. They charged me more $100 dollares to correct a defective piece!!!! There is NO warranty.
