I have ordered Honeybaked ham for 50+ years because my family enjoyed it so much. This year I ordered for Easter and spoke to a worker at the Oakland Honeybaked Ham location. I inquired how much I would need for 6 adult eaters. I was told I should get the ham size that would cost $44.95. I agreed to this and was baffled and confused when I was sent 2 boxes, each with the similar size of ham. Since it was only a day and a half before Easter, I decided it was best to just accept what was sent. wondering if the 2 boxes equaled the $44+ price. When my credit card bill came, I noticed that I had been charged $89.90 for the 2 boxes of ham. In other words I was charged double what I was told would be the cost. I did pay my bill, BUT I have learned never to order by phone for Honeybaked ham. Our family still loves your ham, but I would never recommend to anyone to order by phone - only to go in person...
Read moreI went here expecting my favorite ham and turkey and was overcharged by the store clerk. I even had to send a complaint because the lady made me pay more than the listed menu price. When I came back into the restaurant to take pictures, all of a sudden she wanted to offer me a refund. They used to have hot mac and cheese that you could get as a side. All of the hot sides have disappeared and now you have to pay 10 dollars for it. The cold sides look gross and old. You may as well go into the grocery store next door and buy them because that's exactly where it looks like they come from. I had to go back and ask for glaze because they gave me dry meat with no flavor. This particular location had really gone downhill with quality. I love the brand, just not this location. No love is put into that food. It costs way too much...
Read moreThis restaurant is kid of hidden, hard to spot when driving by. The restaurant is clean and well kept the food looks fresh and good. The staff greets you when you enter the door and is very friendly they answered all the questions I had of the menu and offered me alternative in case they did not have some of the ingredients. The restaurant has shared parking in the shopping center and is plentiful. I had the pastrami sandwich with a broccoli salad and an ice tea drink for 25 dollars. The sandwich was a decent portion size and was really delicious, definitely worth it. The broccoli salad was also very tasty, I would recommend both of them. Overall this restaurant is a must visit if you are in the area and need a quick...
