Sarkis Pastry — Restaurant in Glendale

I drove a long way on December 7 to purchase some mix cookies .they close at 8 o’clock. We were there about 730. The ladies were working there, and they acted like they doing us a favor .And when I open the box the second morning to have some with my coffee, it was horrible taste falling apart. Like they’re old or bad butter, and not to mention the service was not the greatest like they want to get rid of whatever left over, no smile and not a customer friendly ,so when I called the second morning, I spoke to somebody and explained what happened, didn’t even offer if you want to come in and exchange them or get refund all I heard sorry and I’ll tell Mr. Sarkis .so I’ll never go there again. I highly recommend the cashew cookie, pistachio maamoul, date maamoul, date cookies, and the small white log pistachio cookies I am not sure the name of. I love this bakery because there are SO many items to choose from! If you aren't familiar with particular cookies, It's nice to purchase random ones individually (pay by weight) to decide which ones you like for next time. Randomly picking a few of each would also be a great dessert to bring to any dinner party or picnic.

A super sweet lady was so friendly and answered all of my questions about the flavors. I am looking forward to many more trips here and trying everything on the menu at least once...

Unless you have had Baklava from this place you can't possibly understand what you're missing, let me help you. If you have only ever had baklava in a restaurant you've definitely been missing out! Stop and try this Baklava in Glendale will not be disappointed, though you may become addicted. I make no apologies. EDIT: NEVER order online.
