As I said above, however, no matter how big or small, I want to feel, that the reason why I'm there is as important to the person helping me as it is for me. That's what I get from this store. Manail Bidrussian is a patient man, that treats his customers with respect and affords them every courtesy. He has a great selection for every occasion and age.

I told Manail basically what I was looking for. He then helped me narrow is down by sections in his store. Then backed off and just allowed me to take my time, and answered all my questions when I had them. When I narrowed it down to two pieces (a little over an hour), he helped me walk through why I, ME, believed either piece to be the right fit for the person I was buying it for. It wasn't about which he thought was "better" because he said, "after all I picked each piece here to be displayed in my store, so I like them all because there's a reason for each one."

His attention to detail and care, from the piece itself, to the chain, to the gift box, to the gift bag, to the tissue paper was all about how it was going to make the person I was giving the piece feel. That's why no matter what jewelry need I have, I know where I'm going.

I had a lot of gold jewelry to sell but had been holding onto it for a while due to sentimental reasons. I brought the same 2 small rings to each of the 3 stores where I was looking to sell. Bidrussian not only offered more than the other 2 pawn shops for the rings, but more than I expected. We separated the jewelry by their different carat grades. The buyer tested each item for authenticity, wrote down the values and gave me a clear total. This was the exact method I used when I was the buyer at my clothing store.

Little things ad up because in the end, he offered me $1,300 more than the last store. The best part was that I had 2 uniquely-shaped gold ring sets that I wanted to have appraised. The buyer assessed the carat value on the diamonds, which was exactly the clarity I thought they were.
