Kabab Way — Restaurant in Glendale

Honestly I have eaten there several times over the past 4 years.. I never had problems, the food was good and the service was great... However in May of 2015, I visited the restaurant and let me tell you, the food was not the same and the service was not the same.. I never complained... The first week of July 2015, we decided to pay the restaurant a visit, over staffed, and the only person who's suppose to take our orders was busy checking a vendor receipt and counting money never acknowledge us for almost 5 minutes.... when she was ready, her approach was, what do you want to order, not even hi hello..... we went ahead and placed the order... we paid and sat waiting for our order.. 30 minutes, still waiting, so i looked over and realized the cook who is serving our food is wiping his forehead and turned around and reached over to our salad and with the same bare hand.... no gloves and no had wash filling the trays all with the same hands... i wasn't happy, i decided to discuss with the cashier, and when i voiced my concern, her response was.. WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WEAR GLOVES.... before she even finished, i pointed her to another employee who had just swept the floor wearing gloves... and 10 minutes earlier me and my wife noticed one of the employees seeping outside seating area, when she decided to raise the broom and swept a napkin off the table... Now folks don't believe anything i'm saying here.... please pay them a visit and observe and as for my statement, please ask them to show you their recorded video's for july 10, 2015.... and then you'll believe me.. i asked a refund before i even got the food. i was told first you cant't, the food is almost ready... i insisted and my money was returned... and as i'm walking out the cashier mumbled saying GO HOME... I will...

Their kabobs are the best: flavor, juicy and fresh. The prices are very affordable and reasonable for such a great quality and decent sizes. Yesterday I had #5, the chicken breast kabob with hummus and pickled turnip. It’s delish and very tasty. Everything is very fresh, made from scratch right here including the hummus. Kabab Way is a hidden gem in Glendale. I have been coming here for years to eat their fresh and delicious Mediterranean food. I stopped by with my family yesterday to get a late lunch before heading to an art gallery in Los Angeles. Our favorite plates include the Chicken Sultani, Shish Combination, and Beef Lula & Chicken Shish. It’s so good you just can’t wait to eat! We gobbled up the food before I could take a picture; my apologies. I live in Azusa and often drive down to Kabab Way to eat and pick up food for parties. The menu has a good selection of plates. A family platter feeds 6-8 people for $69.99, a good deal! The portions are generous, and they cater. They have 2 locations in Glendale, one on San Fernando Rd and the other on Glendale Ave. A casual place to visit and enjoy good food with family and friends.
