From the atmosphere and customer service to the quality of the food, Skaf's Lebanese Cuisine was a superb experience for me.
I dined here a few nights ago for the first time and was really impressed with the customer service. A man, who seemed to be the manager, genuinely wanted to know my friend and I liked our specialty drinks. I ordered the rose water beverage and my friend got the blueberry juice beverage. I thought both were too watered down but still tasty. I let him know and he took it with a smile and told us his favorite, which was the blueberry one.
We shared the SPICY POTATOES ($7) appetizer, which was great. The manager gave us a free side of GARLIC SPREAD (normally $5) to go along with the potatoes. It was such a perfect (and generous) combination.
I ordered the LAMB KEBOB ($16) entree - medium rare - and came with rice (or fries), their famous cabbage salad, hummus & pita bread. Oh, it was delicious. Everything was great.
My friend ordered the COMBO PLATE ($19) because she wanted to try a little bit of everything. Her dish was delicious as well.
I will definitely come back again. Loved everything and cannot wait to try other dishes.
They have a small parking lot available for you or there's always...
Read moreLet me be the first tell you that the owner and his team with were not only super freaking nice but so helpful with explaining what each of the dishes were that I was curious about. Their hummus is an absolute must order dish, the breaded meatball called a kibbeh, was out of this freaking world and honestly is the spot in Glendale for delicious Lebanese food.
Skaf's has been a part of my life for the past few years and has always been the place I look forward to getting when we don't habe time to cook at home. After I had open heart surgery and was in the hospital for 2+ weeks. I got home and after all the pain and difficulties and fear that came from that experience. When it came to having my first meal out of the hospital, I chose Skaf's. It was the one comfort I could have after everything because of the quality of their food and that it was on the heart healthy options.

Read moreWhen we arrived there were no seats available, the entire place was packed with people enjoying their food! You could sense the feeling of warmth from the entire staff which generated and over all feeling of happiness! After about a 10 minute wait we were seated, let's say the show began. We are greeted so warmly and graciously! We are thanked for our patients in waiting, we were served hummus and pita bread while we decided what to order. My wife had the chicken kabob with rice and cabbage salad. I had beef shawarma with rice and a side of Baba Ghannouj. The portions were more than ample and the food was delicious! We both agreed that it would be worth the trip from Thousand Oaks just to eat there. We happened to be in the area for an event, and we are so grateful that we stumbled upon Skaf's! The entire staff was so friendly that we felt like we were family. We will definitely be back...
