GoodFellow Market — Local services in Glendale

This is a wonderful market. It is NOT a supermarket, or even a large market. It's a small, neighborhood, ethnic market. If you want to find good, fresh produce, shop here. If you want to find Mediterranean foods, especially IndoEuropean and Sadaf products, this is where you want to go.

The staff is always very helpful, and the customers can sometimes be helpful if you don't quite know what something is, or how to use it.

In the fall, you will find freshly dried out raisins - not treated with anything but the sun.

Oh, and the prices? Well, they're not bad, either. You will find yourself spending less money, and eating a lot healthier. Not a bad combination, eh?
