I decided to stop at this Starbucks because I was stuck in traffic going nowhere through Glendale back to downtown LA and there were only a few cars at the drive through and the parking lot was empty. Just to be clear, this is an outdoor Starbucks. By that I mean they have a drive thru, outdoor only patio style tables and chairs seating (a lot of it), and exterior walk up and pick up window. There is no indoor seating or order area. The order window is not clearly marked and there is no menu if you come up from the drive thru side. I didn't know where to order because it didn't say ORDER HERE anywhere. The window opened and I started to ask the employee if they still had a certain type of frappuccino and after a few questions and answers to narrow it down, they did so I ordered it and redeemed my Starbucks points to get it. He thought I asked for 5 of the same drink and proceeded to tell me I didn't have enough points. Have no idea where he got that from. I was solo. I corrected him, he apologized, we laughed about it and told me my drink would be ready shortly. Walked around the corner to the short side facing Seeley's Furniture and there were all the menu boards I was looking for to begin with. Never got told that's where they were. Oddly, they are above the pick up window (again no signage). Figured it would be maybe 2 minutes max wait time as I was the only one there (plus a couple of drive thru cars). You can't see into the place so you have no idea how many people are working or IF they are working. Two minutes became three so I sat down. After what seemed to be a long time I checked my phone and realized it had been SIX MINUTES of wait time. That's a long time to wait even if they are busy. By Minute Seven a second employee opened the pick up window with my drink. I asked him why it took seven minutes to get it and he stared at me and said (i kid you not) "Uhhhhh. Is there anything else I can get you?" Which I replied "Yeah, can I have my seven minutes back?" He stared at me and then shut the window not even offering an apology or a coupon which they do on occasion when issues like this arise. So I just left knowing I would be writing this review. One star for cleanliness. The place outside was very clean. The second star because the drink was in fact what I ordered. It was my first, only, and last time at this Starbucks as I wouldn't trust that this is a one-off incident. This crew clearly needs to be retrained. Sorry Starbucks, I think I am becoming a Dunkin Donuts fan for my coffee drinks. This is...
Read moreI cant tell you enough how terrible my experience was at this Starbucks. So, they didn’t return me my credit card after they gave me food at the drive through. Not a big deal, happens… i did not have time to turn around and come back for it right away since i was in the rush to work. However, you should return the card first before you give the food to me, but okay. so I called them later and said “hey guys this happened my card wasn’t return to me earlier at the drive through, can I come Pick it up” they go “we don’t have any card”. I was like ok i can come tmrw morning and check with the morning shift. Their manager said ok. When I came back in the am, I said Hey I called In yesterday about the card and manager told me to come in the am. Barista said “we don’t have any card”. I was Like “okay can you get me a manager” the barista refused to call the manager he goes “ you can just call your bank and order a new card. Manager is gonna tell you the same thing.” It was rude I did not ask for the advice. Normally you come check for the card where it was left first. Anyway this baristas guy was super rude to me for no reason… and then the manager came and refused to give me a name of the guy who was on the drive through at the time of my purchase. And the barista guy kept interrupting my conversation with the manager. It was just beyond rude. Something that should have been handled so easily and with kindness turned into the most negative conversation. If I could Give 0...
Read moreVery inconvenient place if you do not drive through. Milk and sugar, everything is inside and you are outside, you should ask about everything, how many you want. I am that kind of person who try the taste to understand is it sweet enough or do I need more milk. And when people open the window they turn on a/c and massive wind takes all your trash, napkins, sugar etc. and they just fly away. You are running around picking up your mess. Later you can find out you need more sugar but you don't want to come back at that window. People behind you are waiting when you are done, you feel some pressure. Like you want to finish it faster then you can. The trash can was not near the window, I don't know why I have to go to another place with full hands of drinks and trash. I thought Starbucks would think about the convenience of that location...
