Labcorp — Local services in Glendale

Giving credit where and when it is due. I have to say, out of the many LabCorps I've been to, this one tops the cake with cleanliness and friendliness. Since after my surgery, I needed my TSH monitored to the extent of every other week for a while, this LabCorp location not only does their job expeditiously but maintains a nice and clean facility that I would be happy to recommend to anyone. Making an appointment is A MUST, I cannot reiterate this enough - A MUST. Most people complain about waiting too long but they neglect to mention that they do not have an appointment. Most of my visits here have been in and out with little to no waiting time. I check-in online when I park/arrive then a few minutes later, I get a txt that they are ready for me. Easy-peezy.

I had a great visit to Labcorp for routine blood work. The "wait in your car" system is a great -- in addition to being a lot safe not sitting in a crowded waiting room, it's nice to wait in my quiet car. I hope this stays post-pandemic.

My technician was Vera. She was friendly the whole time. At one point, her mask slipped down while she was talking. I'm a bit strict about masking with a trip coming up that I don't want to miss. When I mentioned it slipped, she quickly apologized and put it back on. She wasn't defensive, and there was no reason to be. Masks slip. Vera handled it perfectly and was so kind to me. My wife just had blood drawn by Helen at Labcorp, and she is one of the nicest humans you could ever hope to meet. She was kind, patient, and walked my wife through every step of the process so she felt comfortable the entire time.

Helen even went above and beyond—sharing a thoughtful recommendation for low iron (pomegranate syrup in hot water) and ending the visit with a genuine hug. In a setting that can often feel clinical, Helen made the experience personal, warm, and human.
