Sushi Plus — Restaurant in Glendale

Let me just start by saying I have been coming to this place since its opening. I used to go to the location off of 43rd and Olive but when that location changed ownership, the employees opened Sushi plus on 59th and Tbird. Our first visit was welcoming by the waitress and staff and the food was nothing short of amazing. Every visit since then, has been such a let down. Not with the food by any means, the food was superb as usual but the service was horrible and last night was my last straw. I walked in with a group of 4 of us and the waitress just stared at us so I said we have nine with a high chair please... She rolled her eyes. (This was for my brothers birthday dinner.) She pointed to a table so we went over and took a seat. It was 20 mins before she came and took our drink order. When we ordered edamame with the drinks for an appitizer, it was like the waitress had checked out and had enough of us or something. From there on out everything was too much of a task for her and she would sigh loudly if we asked for anything extra. Her attitude was just very poor and it was clear that she was annoyed. When it came time to pay she tried to gip my dad of $100. I will never be returning here. I couldn't believe the amount of disrespect she was giving us. WORST Service EVER They are the rudest, most ignorant restaurant owners that ive ever encountered.Dont eat at this place theyll treat you like $#!+ and then want you to pay for it.

To start this out right heres a little back story. We've eaten at this place 3-4 times. Usually its not packed, and the service is pretty decent. This time however there were more people than they were able to serve. When we ordered our food, the furry that was taking our order didnt understand or didnt care what we were ordering. We kept having to repeat ourselves and even though she wrote down the order we didnt get our food all together and one of our plates was completely forgotten. The only thing that the crusty old shrew(COS) did, when I went to the counter because they had forgotten us, was laugh and go oops sorry and she blamed the furry for not ordering one of our plates at all. I got the plate ordered and then went to go sit down. This time the plate was out in about 5 min. It took them 2hrs to get our food out. Then to add insult to injury when I went to talk to the cos She didnt want to talk to me in english like she was before. She had the furry tell me that since we got the plate that we were being charged full price. She also said that she didnt care if we came back or not. Went to pick up food and ordered what we usually get. I was told there would be a $5 up charge and when I asked why was given an answer that the salmon is more. Was kinda confused but I was gonna check out my receipt when I got there. After we paid the person giving us our order threw our copy of the receipt away which I thought was kind of odd. We went to check our food in the car to find out that part of it was wrong. We immediately bring it in and try to explain what we were trying to order because maybe it was a miscommunication and I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. They basically told us we ordered wrong and refused to do anything about it and said the kitchen was closed(a little early as well than the posted time mind you). I get if the kitchen is closed early because it’s a Monday but refusing to do anything at all and leaving us with the food we didn’t want with an up charge that didn’t really make sense and is a crazy way to handle it. I just can’t imagine coming back after the way they handled it. On top of that there was an open drain behind the counter and the smell of sewage was so bad that I was desperate to try to get out and have some fresh air.
