Final score 8.4/10. I got the #3 combo, so it’s 1 slider and 1 tender plus fries or Mac n cheese. I got the Mac n cheese. The sandwich was good, but the tender was more long than wide, but it had good girth to it too. The sandwich slaw was average, nothing special, the bun was dense and more packed than Dave’s hot chicken. I didn’t like that because it made the sandwich heavier. I give the sandwich a 7.8/10. The slider was amazing. It was girthy, and long. It was juicy and delicious. I give the tender a 9.6/10. The Mac n cheese was more like a pasta, so I give it a 8.0/10. It wasn’t cheesy at all, but it had good flavor and it was perfectly al dente. I like that condiments were accessible like honey or hot sauce or ketchup. Their special sauce is more flavorful than Dave’s hot chicken, but it’s basically the same thing. But why on earth are they charging for extra sauce? I don’t like that I had to pay extra for more sauce or if I wanted more pickles. That seems like a cheap move by the owner. Overall the prices for the combos were the same as other hot chicken spots, but individual items were extremely expensive. So would I eat here again? I don’t know. The prices are somewhat outrageous. How did I spend $26 for a combo and a milkshake? That should be $16 max. Dave’s Hot Chicken is more delicious...
Read moreThe first time I came here, I waited over an hour for my food, however they seemed understaffed and it was quite busy. The cashier at the time handled it very respectfully and have me a free soda for the wait, which I really appreciate. The second time, and multiple times after, was amazing. Food was ready in less than 10 minutes and the food is delicious. Personally, I am not a fan of their sauce, but that's because it sorry of has a mustard type flavor that I am not a fan of, but it's still good regardless. I highly recommend the loaded fries (with their honey) as a meal on their own, or even a meal for 2. The food is delicious and I hope this stays in business for years to come. I find myself craving more just days after!
Update; I am glad they are still in business. I continue to get food from them and I hope they stay around for a long time and grow to...

One of the better halal hot chicken shops around in SoCal! The sauce and buns they use really stand out to me as being above average from the rest. The actual seasoning and chicken is quite good as well, I’d say it’s a little better quality than Dave’s but it tastes different. Not a bad thing, I think it’s tasty and their heat ratings are fairly accurate as well and usually really consistent in my experience. I’d say Dave’s chicken is usually a bit crispier the way they fry it while Habibi’s has a bit more tenderness and flavor. The staff has always been great as well. Highly recommended, especially if you’re looking for something quick and halal...
