JoJo’s Sweet Shack — Restaurant in Glendora

My experience with JoJo's Sweet Shack is over the top amazing! I found this bakery at the last minute because we bought cake toppers for my son's Sonic the Hedgehog party, and we needed a cake to put the toppers on. My husband was thinking of taking them to a grocery store, but I really wanted to have that personal bakery experience (something I don't get at grocery stores). I found JoJo's Sweet Shack because I work close by. I went in and told her exactly what I needed. She was so kind and explained everything to me as far as flavors, fillings, sizes, prices, etc. When my husband, my son, and me went back to drop off the cake toppers, she was so sweet to us and even gave us free cookies as a "thank you" (which were yummy!) I took my son with me today to pick up the cake and... we were BLOWN AWAY! If you could only see my son's face when he saw the cake-- he absolutely LOVED it! Jojo and her husband were so happy to see the look on his face and it showed me how much they really do care for their customers. The cake was a hit at the party and it was DELICIOUS too! How it started: Our nonprofit’s district director saw an AI generated cake on a social media post (misspelled, but well intended) and asked the fateful question: Could we do that IRL?

How it went: Fabulous! Precovid, our honorees would be subjected to a “Hug Line” dozens of people long. Not a lot of fans of that nowadays! JoJo’s solved our issue - creating a new tradition for our honorees. Each of our nine honorees were asked their favorite cake choice and filling. One was additionally gluten free. Jojo masterfully created these nine cakes that were the perfect pantones and properly positioned logo of our nonprofit. Each cake double as a centerpiece at the table, stealing the show. The honorees were surprised to see their name and realized why their dessert preference was requested. Each honoree’s senior cut and served them and the remaining table attendees, sharing the sweet success.

Jojo is going to have an annual order, continuing this newly embraced tradition. We already have three honorees in the first three weeks of our nonprofit’s new year… we may need more than 9 cakes in the following year (a great and tasty...

That last review about the “flies” really made me curious as I was just in there the other day and got a couple bars and JoJo threw in some cookies; everything was amazing. I noticed that JoJo’s has a sliding cover to keep the freezer cold and the ice cream fresh. The young lady who served me, slide the cover open to scoop the ice cream and immediately closed it once she was done. I got the PB swirl and Mocha Brownie; both were incredible by the way.

I could not see how “flies” could get into the ice cream or how they would survive the cold, it’s FROZEN!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could, everything I have tried is incredibly tasty, fresh and original. It’s clean and the folks are all so friendly.
