I am always on the lookout for nice parks where I can bring my babies so that they can explore the outdoors and not be cooped inside the house all day long. As a rule, hubby and I agreed not to let them be consumed by TV and electronic gadgets as their babysitters. Last month, we visited Finkbiner Park, which is relatively large with a basketball court, tennis court, baseball field, skate park, 3 slide structures that cater to different age groups, swing sets for both small and bigger babies. There are also benches for picnics, plus a tent-covered area perfect for parties and gatherings.

The park has its fair share of visitors but it's not crowded. Baby girl enjoyed the slides immensely. She did not want to leave. Baby boy too small to be doing the slides but I had him sit on the swing and he was giggling in no time. Only downside I saw was the slides needed a little wiping here and there, as I could see some dirt marks. We will be back, for sure, and will bring disinfectant wipes to clean the surfaces before we let the...

The park itself is clean and very family friendly, There's picnic / bbq areas, open grass areas, basketball courts, softball fields and kids play areas, However, if youre into skateboarding, this skatepark is a joke. Its small , fenced in with no flow to it, everything is on one side and the concrete is old and cracked and pitted. I hesitate in actually calling it a skatepark since the majority is bikes and scooters. It was one of the first parks around so at the time it was built, they really didnt know. What they were doing. Glendora needs to give that park to the bikes and scooters, and build a new modern skatepark at one of the other empty wasted. Space park locations. With actual bowls and flow areas. Cmon Glendora time to step it up! Stop being the laughing stock of skateparks! Oh yea. BOYCOTT BEN...

Nice park in Glendora located in a nice looking family neighborhood. Very scenic, peaceful surroundings, clean & safe. I say that because it's nice to drive up to a friendly looking park that looks good, clean and feels safe. The park itself is not that big but large enough with great facilities, easy parking and super clean and functioning restrooms. I was really impressed at the quality of the park services. I've gone to parks that were overrun with trash, looked depressing, terrible foul smelling restrooms and questionable people hanging out. This is like one of those parks you see in a family movie scene where kids are playing, people having picnics and in my case- a taco party. I liked it. I would greatly recommend this park to anyone wanting a comfortable, nice, clean and accessible park for...

Great local venue for summer concerts in the park, June to August every year. There's a green for setting up a chair and oak tree grove in the back. Note that the sun will beat down on a patch of the green, but by 630/7pm the sun is down enough that it's shaded. Popular bands will pack the area. Most of the parking is on neighborhood streets with limited parking in a transit lot to the east of the park. Use this site for directions because the park address will send you to the opposite side.
