My first time there. April didn’t ask me any questions about what kind of massage I wanted She asked what area was bothering me. I told her my neck and shoulders specifically on the right. side and that my calves were really tight. She then spent 45 minutes of the hour standing and walking on my thighs and I was telling her Ow that hurts there! I kept telling her it hurts and she didn’t switch what she was doing then I even pointed to my calves thinking maybe there was a language barrier and she barely touched my calves for five seconds with no pressure at all! She spent a few minutes of the hour on my neck and shoulders, and the 10 seconds she used her hands and thumb it felt great, but was right away ruined with what she did next pushing full force with her feet. You would think a massage therapist would listen to their client especially if they are crying out in pain. I tried again to explain to her it wasn’t what I was expecting or wanting and her answer was that I was going to be in more pain tomorrow but after that I should feel better. And then wanted to know if I’m tipping her with cash or credit! I went there for relaxation and pain relief. But I ended up leaving in far more pain than I was before going there. I realize that some people probably like that extreme pressure and force but if your client is telling you that they don’t like it, shouldn’t the therapist listen and not do it? This is the worst Massage I’ve ever had in my life ! It was an absolutely horrible and painful experience ! I’m praying to God I’m not permanently injured! I would never willingly pay $60 for someone to beat me up and torture me. Come to think of it I wasn’t asked any information whatsoever, maybe she thought I was much younger than I am. She didn’t ask. Didn’t ask about past injuries or medical conditions. But worse than not being asked those questions, was not being listened to when I was saying how much it hurt and that I didn’t like it. Unless you love being injured and in pain I would highly recommend not going there. To be fair and say something positive, they were very warm and welcoming when I first arrived and I did get a good first impression. I don’t know if it would have gone better with a different therapist, I really don’t understand why i wasn’t heard, but literally got stepped on, and she walked all over me instead. Very bad experience. I’m still in...
Read moreI started going here because their hours aligned with my work schedule and they were nearby my work. Last year my work location moved and I still go out of my way to come here. It’s small, clean and family owned. The sign on the wall (in my photos) about not asking for favors is funny, but it’s honestly why I decided to give them a try in the first place- it just made me feel very safe! Amy and her team are very sweet and generous and do a great job making sure the pressure is perfect for me. If you haven’t had a Thai massage where they “walk” on your back, you need to try it! I always leave refreshed. I recommend them to all my local...
Read moreAll of the masseuses here are AMAZING. Most recently, Amy, the owner, gave me one of the best massages of my life. And today, Gina worked out my kinks like no other! I told her where my knots were and she really went to work on them ALL. She found knots I didn’t even know where there. I feel so much better and definitely need to go...
