Starbucks — Restaurant in Glendora

I've come to this Starbucks often enough to be able to say that the coffee is always fresh tasting and they make really good hot, iced and blended drinks. This place is always busy and the service is always friendly. I've been meaning to write this review but was prompted to not wait any longer because of my visit there this morning - I picked up my venti hot drink and was walking back to a table with it - one of the workers noticed that I spilled some of it on the table and my hand - within seconds he brought me more napkins and offered me some burn gel for my hand. I didn't have to ask for any help - he just noticed and offered. And by the way, I singed my hand pretty good and the burn gel relieved the sting and the redness on contact. Basically, I'm an idiot. I went into Starbuck's yesterday and ordered banana nut loaf, and since Dan wasn't really paying attention he said "pumpkin nut loaf?" And since I wasn't really paying attention either I said "Yeah." So they don't actually have pumpkin nut loaf but the pumpkin loaf I did get was about as bland a food substitute as I've ever encountered.

What makes me an idiot is that I talked myself into going back today. This time they got the banana nut loaf right, but my decaf latte ended up not being decaf, and I forget what else the label said it had but the word pecan found its way into the mix.

I'm not sure you can or ought to drink pecans, so I threw the whole mess in the trash, bought a box of donuts at the grocery store nearby and ate half of them...

I met someone at this location for an OfferUp transaction. Since I was there, I decided to use some of the gift cards I've received. I placed an order for a sandwich and a drink. When my order was called, I realized my sandwich was missing. I asked about it and the employee seemed confused, but eventually found my order. It's worth mentioning that I was using crutches, so getting up from my seat wasn't easy. After a few minutes, I finally got my sandwich and sat down again. I took a bite and a sip to wash it down, only to realize that my drink was mostly ice. Seriously, Starbucks? I understand your "prestige pricing" strategy, but I should at least be able to enjoy my sandwich with the drink I ordered. Overall, it was not a good...
