This place should have gone out of business a long time ago. Everything about this place is a lie. The only reason why it is still operational is because it is the only one near Fort Eustis. I decided to order the Mango magic since I really love Sushi and I had a bad cravings for it. I have never been to a place that felt like they took your money! The serving sizes for this place are incredibly super small and tiny. I also order super Star and paid $24 all together. What I received was two tiny boxes with so call Sushi in them that I took them mad because I paid for it. I took a picture of the boxes. For $24 dollars you can eat all you want sushi at a Sushi King for two people. This is incredible and frustrating that they are taking people hard earned money. Please do not waste your money at this place so called Sushi bar. It is a...

Found this hidden gem while driving through Newport News today! This spot was cozy and welcoming, not to mention the staff made me feel very comfortable while attending to my needs. As for my order, I had spicy tonkotsu ramen along with their new strawberry boba. The ramen was very flavorful and it definitely felt like the chef had put a lot of effort into making the broth. I loved the toppings that came with the dish as the chashu pork melted throughout my mouth and the spicy umami broth lingered on the roof of my tongue and back of my throat. To end this meal, I decided to order a strawberry boba to-go which pleasantly reminded me of the iconic Korean strawberry milk which I buy in cartons at Farm Fresh! Overall, I had a great experience and would greatly encourage everyone else to give...

Listen to Edgar. Kyoto in Newport News is just as pricey and TINY portioned as sushi King in Hampton. I included my keys for scale. This is "two rolls". They charged me TWENTY dollars for this snack. What a joke! If they charge you $20 for two rolls, walk away! Good Lord! I'll update my review based on how the sushi tastes.

Update 3/6/19 Called what I thought was my fav sushi restaurant. Different person answers. "Hello I'd like to place a to go order. Two rolls of tuna, avocado, cream cheese, cucumber and ginger, please." "Ok two rolls tuna, cucumber, add cream cheese and cucumber." "Yes! And ginger inside the roll." "I'm sorry we can't do that. We put it on the side for you." It was the wrong location. But what kind of restaurant refuses to make your order the way you...
