I visited this Soprano Italian Restaurant in June 2025. I was initially thinking to go to the nearby Taco Bell, but decided to try this place out instead. I'm glad I did. Upon entering this location in the afternoon, one of the staff pleasantly greeted me, gave me a menu, and began telling me about the place, while giving me my space and not being pushy. The owners are apparently Egyptian, not Italian, and such was a bit surprising, especially when so many people these days are griping about "cultural appropriation," but I don't care much about who started or engages in particular cultures. To me, it's about whether the culture is good or not, and in this regard this Soprano's restaurant is 100% excellent at making the Italian food I ordered, and I'm saying this as someone who is part Italian in my ancestry and as someone who speaks the Italian language in addition to English and other languages. I got a few things here: a Sopranos sampler platter (fried chicken tenders, fried onion rings, fried mushrooms, and fried cheese sticks, and Buffalo style fried chicken legs), and two roughly 14 inch long sub sandwich specials (one being a cheese steak sub for me, and the other being a Soprano's special for my Father, who is part Italian and has eaten Italian subs his entire life). The last bona fide cheese steak sub I had was actually in the downtown market in Philadelphia about 25 years ago, so I was long overdue for a good cheese steak. The one I got from this place was about 14 inches long (cut in half to make two 7 inch halves), and it was excellent. Loaded with steak and complemented with onions, green peppers, and cheese, and with the bun toasted some, it was absolutely delicious and an authentic cheese steak sub. 💯 They were even willing to customize it for me (putting tomatoes on one half and not on the other half). It came with a side of fries, which had a great flavor and quantity, but could have been a little crispier, and also a drink (I chose the lemonade from their choices, and it was not very good, but the iced sweetened tea was very good). The Soprano sampler platter was excellent. The onion rings and chicken tenders were phenomenal. The fried mushrooms and cheese sticks were also good, but not as good as the onion rings and chicken tenders. The Buffalo style chicken legs that were part of such were very good. My Father (and Mother) ate the Soprano special sub (loaded with different meats and cheeses), and they loved it. My Father insisted my Mom now get him subs from this place from time to time. The lunchtime special price for one sub meal was $11.99 (which included the 14 inch sub, plus a drink, plus a side of fries or chips). The subs here are better, larger, tastier, and less expensive than at the Subway fast food restaurant. The service here was very fast, and they had everything done within 5-10 minutes of placing the order. I got it to go, and they put it all in Styrofoam containers shown in the photos here (I took these photos at home, not in the restaurant). There was plenty of seating in the front of the restaurant, but some of it could use some upgrading. The booths are great and comfortable as they are, and don't need upgrading. If you're coming here to eat here, ask to sit in one of the booths, but if coming here for pick up and take out, it's fine sitting anywhere. They also do deliveries to the local area. While there, employees from nearby businesses and restaurants came here for lunch, which to me further reinforces my conclusion that this is a good place with excellent food. I rate the food here that I had as overall 5 stars, the service as 5 stars, and the atmosphere as 3 stars (due to needing above mentioned upgrades). After trying this place out, I'm glad I did and will be back from time to time.

First of all , let me say this. Our server Eric was awesome. It took over 20 minutes to get our food out despite the fact that there was only one other patron. The food was not good . The paper menu has hundreds of options , from Italian, to American bar food like burgers , cold cut sandwiches, subs, cheesesteaks, chicken , pasta , pizza , lasagna , spaghetti and a plethora of salads and dozens of other items . That might be the issue . Maybe with a smaller menu selection the food would be better . The pizza was greasy and not very tasty. The dough was soggy and undercooked , which was disappointing. The roast beef sandwich was literally thin sliced like the prepackaged version, cheese not melted on regular square bread toasted. My daughter didn’t get past the first bite. The salad was huge but just a mess, the onions and veggies weren’t even sliced . There was literally a half an onion . We sent it back and they did take that off of our ticket . The chicken wings were soggy and bland . After we all had finished eating , my nephews plate finally arrived 30 minutes later so we ended up having to take his meal to go. he ordered a calzone which ended up taking an hour to prepare.

A friend suggested we visit this location as I am a big pizza lover. We ordered a large pepperoni pie, 6 chicken wings with fries, and calamari to-go. I will try to keep it short and to the point. Chicken wings were the size of the ketchup packets and mushy. Fries were soaked in oil and old. Picture included. Calamari rings were tiny and their coating resembled Mozzarella stick coating/flavor. Not even close to Italian calamari. Pizza was a good size and plenty of toppings. It was very salty, greasy, and chewy. Not a NY example to compare. I'm a New Yorker and this spot was a big miss for me. There is plenty of seating and fairly quiet inside. This spot offers military discount. Our server told us we could not receive it because our pizza pie was offered as a Tuesday special. However, the other server offered a military discount to another customer who also ordered off the Tuesday special menu. So although they offer it, it appears that would depend on who serves you. In the end, prices were fair, food quality was poor, freshness was questionable and portion size for the chicken was comical. I may come back to try a different item like the gyro; but not any time soon.

RESPONSE TO THE OWNER First of all, you're wrong. Other restaurants do this. Online services even do this. Other business I've loyally supported trust me. I may order 20 times from them and never have an issue. If something goes wrong on the 21st, they'll give me a refund after taking the same actions I took with you since I was a loyal, TRUSTED customer. Your policies need a serious overhaul to today and not 19 years ago. I mentioned race since it was the only logical explanation I could think of. It was quite the shock. I was very respectful on both visits. That same level of respect wasn't shown to me in turn. Your policy is your prerogative but is doing nothing to promote growth in your business. Leaving a review of your horrible service is my prerogative. Thank you for the new year greeting and wish you and Soprano all the best. You'll just have to do it without me, family and friends. I'M DONE AND STRONGLY ADVISE NO ONE ORDERS HERE! I use to love this place. I ordered the catering size of the Chicken Cacciatore. The final price with tax was $51.06. On 30 Dec 2023, I called 2 to 3 hours before to make sure they could accommodate. Now, I bought this one other time before and it was delicious with plenty of sauce. I checked the pan after picking up it up. It looked fine on the surface. I took it to my family's house. They started eating first and didn't want to say how horrible it was. They didn't want to complain since it was my idea. I started eating about an hour later. What I found was a pan full of white spaghetti with a thin layer of sauce on top, a very thin layer. The sauce should have been thick throughout, just like the first time I bought it, especially for $51.06 plus tip. It was put together extremely cheaply and lazily. You can see it in the video. It's a bit grainy, but doesn't take much for you to see my point. I didn't go back the same day since there was some distance between my destination and the store. The next day, I showed the video to the on hand the shift manager who offered a $15 gift card but couldn't process a refund since it was on a different shift and told me to come back the following day. I spoke with Nadine the following day, same day as this review. I'm assuming she was the shift manager (store should make a change for your own sake). She told me I should have brought it back the same day but couldn't do anything since it had started be consumed. I offered to buy the literally $5.00 of spaghetti noodles in the pan to get my full refund since my mother used it to make something else. Yes, it was so bland, she used it make another spaghetti dish. Nadine wouldn't budge and kept saying it was their policy. When you have a problem with other restaurants, they typically trust what you say, even the first time if they've received a lot business from you, and you're courteous and honest, all of which I was at ALL times. I had been a satisfied recurring customer for a couple of years. I had proof of the garbage they gave me in the video. She still called me a liar in essence. This is in an area where the race is predominantly the same as mine. Businesses often treat us differently than others no matter the situation or how we behave. I now know that this is one of those.

To Sopranos, this was unethical and lazy on Nadine and the rest of your staff. I'm tired of people these days not admitting their shortcomings. Take this as me holding you responsible. If you've ever tried expand from more than 2 locations, this is what's holding you back. This is the 1st of as many reviews I plan to make. ...

I’ve been here a few times without any issues. The food is hands down freaking amazing!!! Tonight we went to get food I ordered what I always do and my husband read it Exactly as I’d texted it the Seaford dinner. I got something else. But got home and seen it wasn’t right. Called 5 times before I got an answer. I’m not upset about it (they are super slammed due to it being the first night restaurant seating is open) I personally think it’s because the food is super and without a doubt worth waiting 30+ minutes for! The item isn’t right, something is lost in translation, they wouldn’t say anything about how it is by any means the situation just said I’m wrong. I’m not I order it always & so does he! I was helped by a sweet guy named Tarick (I’m thinking it’s his name it was super loud and hard to hear.) he was so helpful tried to get the manager or anyone to help me but they wouldn’t. They said I was wrong and they would do it this time make what I want what I ordered and got messed up. I sent my husband to get it and then I was told he needs to come bk to get the food when I wasn’t told that to begin with. So I said I will send a picture and if need be he can pay for the right order no big deal. So he went talked to them and they said fine. But to have someone run and do everything when u can talk to me directly is bad business in my eyes. Horrible customer service especially since I can hear what the man is saying to the other guy every word. I still love the place and I understand it’s crazy especially tonight but I’ve ordered the same thing for a long time and I’ve gotten what I ordered. Maybe it was wrong all those times!? I’m not sure, but I shouldn’t have been treated this way! I do appreciate all the help I got from Tarick so much! I’m not the type of person to get free stuff when I mess up which happens more then not I grit my teeth and deal with it. But this wasn’t one of those times and they didn’t know how bad my day/ night has already been and how hard I was trying to hold it together. That’s why your nice to...
