I ordered a three topping pizza, tasted very decent not disappointed at all! The reason for the three star review concerns the taste of their food. I was told that their Alfredo was made in house, and so I thought I would give it a try. Unfortunately, it wasn’t very good. it did not taste homemade at all, it tasted like something that had been frozen or come out of a jar. Whoever made it does not know how to make an Alfredo sauce, I couldn’t even taste any Parmesan cheese whatsoever. Fettuccine noodles were overcooked, and the sauce lacked flavor. The main ingredient in Alfredo sauce is Parmesan cheese, which is naturally salty and has a robust flavor. I don’t know what they put in their sauce, but it tasted very bland to me. It’s no big deal, I just won’t order that item again. So I do not recommend their fettuccine Alfredo pasta. also, would recommend that you call in your order instead of ordering it online because sometimes they don’t seem to get their online orders right away and when you show up, they may say they just got it in and you have to wait additional time. Have never had a problem with-called-in orders, though! I would still recommend this place 👍 if you decide to go in person, but I think it’s too risky to order it delivered because they don’t ensure the quality of their food.

We tried both the cauliflower and gluten-free crusts as meat lovers pizzas. Cauliflower is crispier and a little more like a cracker and the gluten free crust is a little doughier. Both were good but pizzas were a little more filled with sauce than we prefer. If you like a lot of sauce, this is your place. I ended up wearing some of it 🤪 My husband has Celiac and I am gluten intolerant and neither of us had any issues. I enjoyed the leftovers for breakfast. A 10-inch crust is their only option in the gluten-free. The service was excellent.

I just had one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten at Joe’s Pizza and Pasta in Godfrey, Illinois. The combination of pepperoni, onion, and hot honey was unreal—the sweet heat from the honey balanced perfectly with the savory toppings and crispy crust. Every bite had that perfect blend of flavor and texture that makes you want to slow down just to savor it. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. Joe’s absolutely nailed it. I’ll be back!

First off, the pizza is awesome! About two weeks ago I had my first experience with Joes pizza. I am not a local and the first time I tried then crust pizza was my last… I am from New York, don’t judge me! After talking with some friends it was recommended that I tried thick crust pizza from Joe’s. Being that my grandma was in town we put in a confusing order of the special and a margarita with that crust (which are normally thin crust pizzas). It wasn’t until I got the pizza home 30 minutes away that I realized it was the wrong order, when I called they apologized, and gave me the option of picking up a new pizza that night or crediting the account for another day. I went ahead and had the account credited. Today I put in an order using that credit, and they told me that for some reason the credit wasn’t coming up, but without question they put the manager on who told me it would be no problem to go ahead and order it a pizza on the house. Both times the pizza has been wonderful, how on arrival at home and the thing that matters most to me is always customer service. These people go above and beyond to make sure that the customer is happy and for that I give them five stars, wish I could give a whole ‘nother 5 stars for the...

Ordered two full Italian Beefs with Au Jus on the side and fries for take out. Was told the Au Jus on the side was standard procedure for beef sandwiches. When I was handed my to-go order I double checked with the hostess that the au jus was included and was told yes. Got home and you guessed it -- no au jus. Just two very dry Italian Beefs. I had to go back to the restaurant to get the au jus. The two small cups I was given barely wet half of the sandwiches we ordered. The beefs were barely warm (partly because of having to return to the restaurant, but I doubt they were very hot to begin with). The Italian Beef tasted like dry shredded pot roast on a bun with giardiniera. My husband and I only ate half our sandwiches. Definitely would NOT recommend Joe's Italian Beef. Unprofessional language from the 20-something year old hostess. Every comment said to me was infused with "sugar" and "sweetie" as though she was talking to a two year old. I found it very condescending, unprofessional and disrespectful. Train your staff to reserve the "sugar" and "sweetie" comments for the children who patronize your restaurant. Joe's was a restaurant we had been meaning to try since moving to Godfrey. It was a huge...
