TLDR ; "Inconsistent but has Potential"

So I've been a couple times and honestly their fried rice is so good! As long as it stays the same that is. Their food and Boba tea has been inconsistent between visits. Today I got Hokkaido Black tea with tapioca Boba and it is ungodly sweet and it had big clumps of unmixed sugar at the bottom. I got the say my name specialty roll twice so far and it was significantly better the first time like 2 days after they opened. Today I got it again and it's kinda bland and very mushy. The first time I went the wait time was insane, they told me 30 minutes but I waited almost 2 hours until I finally called asking about my order and apparently it was ready just no one called like they said they would. This visit was significantly better and faster. I will continue to try it out and possibly change my review but for now I will say "Inconsistent but...

The food is good but ordering and picking up from them is like pulling teeth. They can’t ever seem to pick up the phone unless you call multiple times and when I went in last they didn’t even acknowledge me for a few minutes. I get that they’re busy but it’s basic customer service to say “hi I’ll be with you in a minute” instead of 3 people very awkwardly and obviously trying to avoid looking at me. The place isn’t set up well either, you go in and they have you stand in everyone’s way to pay and wait for pickups. If the bar is full you’re going to be uncomfortably close to the people at it. They should really reserve the end of that for pickups or at least make room for people to stand. It’s very clear this is someone’s first venture into restaurants so hopefully they can get it together at some point, I’d be there at least twice a week if they’d simply figure out how to...

This is an honest review of a new business. The service was great. There was only 1 server, and he was flying all over the place, taking care of everyone. Our order came in a timely fashion, and was correct. Kudos to the server; dude killed it. Thank you for doing such an awesome job. The shrimp yaki soba was adequate, but my portion was super small, but was loaded with shrimp. There weren't a lot of vegetables in it (just green onions), and, as just stated, the portion wasn't very filling. My son got the chicken teriyaki, and really liked it. I will go back, and will chalk this visit up to the fact that they just opened, and everyone deserves a second chance. I'll give it a month or so.
