New Asian Ju Yuan — Restaurant in Golden Valley

New Asian Ju Yuan continues to deliver. It is very very tasty American-Chinese food, and has become my new weekend treat. All of the dishes are delicious, with lots of crisp veggies added in! I particularly like the Szechuan veggies and tofu, and also the "Dragon and Phoenix," which is 1/2 spicy shrimp and 1/2 General Tso's chicken. My husband loves the white meat sesame chicken!

You won't get a better option for Chinese delivery in the north Metro. Fast, friendly delivery (and you can order FROM THEM so all of the money goes to the restaurant and delivery people!) with reasonable prices, especially for the nice big portions! I can't recommend it enough!

I've had deliveries a few times. I had it once a couple of years ago, and it was not very good. They must have new management of cooks or something, because I've tried it a few times since then, and it's a lot better. Don't go in looking for the best dim sum. It's good American-Chinese food, and if you go in looking for that, it won't disappoint. The veggie dishes have crisp, fresh veggies, and lots of them. I like the white-meat chicken sesame chicken, too. I haven't had their fried rice, but they have tasty steamed rice, and a generous portion of it. Plus it only took 30 minutes for delivery! 5-30-2022 update. extra chicken was requested on the garlic chicken, small cost increase. piping hot again. it's so affordable, and have delivery drivers, so NO grubhub, no Door dash nonsense, which is just great and the tip to the driver is more than it would be otherwise.

I just ordered 3 CHICKEN dishes. Szechuan Chicken, Chicken with garlic sauce, and General Tso's chicken. non-marked plastic containers made it hard to know which was which.

I have sampled just 2 dishes. the first, I think. was General Tso's chicken. it was about 99% chicken, and about 4 broccoli florets. no real surprise in taste. it tasted like chicken!

the second meal, looked like chicken, only to be chunks of some kind of mushrooms, and other veggies like MORE mushrooms, zucchini carrot slices, and sliced onions. it was tasty after I added some flavor. I ate it, even though I don't care for mushrooms or zucchini

it'll be interesting the see what the 3rd meal is for dinner tonight. Update. ...some chicken thin strips. pretty good.

I have been delivering orders from this place for more than 2 years with Doordash and tonight was the first night that I gave their food a try. I'm always hesitant with Chinese restaurants that are new to me because I've experienced a lot of places with terrible food and/or service but this place has excellent service and the food was much better than the majority of places I've tried and I've been to a couple dozen. you're most certainly getting what you pay for if not more so. They're a little more affordable than other places with lower quality food so all around it's a plus for me and a new addition to my list of trusted places.
