Doolittles Woodfire Grill — Restaurant in Golden Valley

6/15/2025 Soóo disappointed with our meal this evening. 2 of our 4 entrees were really not good at all. I would definitely NOT order the mango seared scallops or the top sirloin. The scallops and 10 oz top steak were very small and way over cooked. They did try at the end to offer us a replacement but by then everyone else was done eating.

2/1/2025 update Alexandria was an excellent as a server. She has fantastic suggestions and was candid with her answers which we really appreciated. Melissa behind the bar was on her a game. We enjoyed the Blood Orange Margarini, The Woodford Manhattan, Luxardo Old Fashioned and would order all three again. We also enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger, Ribeye steak, pork tenderloin and my favorite the seared scallops wth mushroom risotto. All options were given a thumbs up.

6 years ago:I had the scallops and they we're ok but I was expecting fantastic. My husband had the hanger steak, again it was ok but needed seasoning. The wine flights were fun. The molten chocolate desert was yummy. The port after dinner was fantastic. The bar area has 4 tvs. One in each corner but all were playing different things. Our waiter was exceptional. I wish they would have timed our meal better. We got the salad and immediately our entree and our table was small so that was challenging. Note:. Ordered chicken wild rice soup to go with a few other menu items and was very disappointed by the soup. Very watery and not flavorful. I was there 2weeks prior in the restaurant and the soup was delicious. Knowing that this is not how their soup was previously, I called and spoke with a manager. I don't remember his name he did apologize that the soup was not up to my standards and seemed confused. He stated that they had been serving the soup all day. Which was either a shot at me or he was suggesting that maybe the soup was running low and they just added water to it to make it last. Which regardless he just shouldn't have said that in the first place. He said he would send me a gift card out and asked for my address. He did not offer a refund but I accepted the gift card offer. It has now been over a month no gift card. I did like Doolittle's but this incident really left me wondering why I go there. Too many other options out there with managers that actually follow through with customer concerns to continue spending money here for me. Leaving a review in hopes they can correct their reactions for future customers. I am cool with not...

i work at another roca restaurant location and thought i’d try one of the sister restaurants while out in the cities. as a server this experience baffled me. when we walked in, it was very slow. it still took 10+ minutes til we got our waitress gabby. we should’ve walked out before we got greeted. our appetizers came before our drinks. we felt like such an inconvenience to the server. i ordered the bbq rotisserie chicken and i wish i hadn’t. the bbq is just brushed on top of the skin of the chicken. it was very bland with not much flavor at all. my boyfriend ordered the rotisserie chicken sandwich. also very bland and neither of us could even eat half of our meal. our server never once came back to check on us or anything. another server came by to ask if we needed boxes. after waiting another 10 mins and having to flag her down we finally got the check. we were going to pay with card but she was too busy talking with her coworkers the whole time and after waiting another 10 mins we left cash and went. again , with being a server and knowing the standards of this company it was very unprofessional and not...
