I’ll start this soliloquy off by saying I wanted to rate this place 1 star but the shrimp fried rice was so amazing I gave it 3..

So this place is meh for the most part, however if you want to taste the best shrimp fried rice you ever ate, I highly recommend getting it from here. Yes I’m aware it claims to be a poboy shop, but I promise you, this fried rice is something else man.

Posted a pic of the combination rice, I promise get the large it’ll fill a family! That’s all I order when I go there and I eat on it 2-3 times getting full each time!

The last time I visited Mike’s I noticed nearly everyone was ordering egg rolls. I made a note to try them, and did so this time and I can see why they are popular. Very fresh and light with good flavors. Not a heavy deep fried Americanized egg roll.

For the poboy I chose the roast beef with gravy. I will say that I prefer my roast beef poboys with the beef debris (think more like a pot roast that’s been close cooked till it falls apart) where Mike’s is deli style meat in a gravy. I don't usually blast restaurants or sandwich shops publicly . But after giving Mike,s Po Boys a chance to correct the situation and the rude idiot hangs up the phone after lying, she leaves me no other choice. I have eaten there several times and the food was great. But today I got a shrimp poboy that had refried shrimp on it. Woman food is my speciality you lied! These shrimp look like hush puppies and has the same texture! You may not miss my $20.00 being spent there once or twice a month but bad publicity is not good for business . Haven't you heard ?
