I wanted to try something new for breakfast yesterday, so I was excited to see this place on Ubereats. I ordered a lot, because I wanted to make sure there was something hubby would like. I ordered the X-Tudo without salad for me and the X-Picanha for hubby. These are breakfast burgers. Mine had bacon, ham, cheese and a fried egg. His had steak, bacon, ham, cheese, fried egg, tomatoes, lettuce, corn, and potato stix. Mine was pretty good, but the burger beef was a little off. I don't know if was a lower grade than I am used to or just a hair past its prime but it tasted a little gamey. Hubby mentioned that the steak on his was low grade, and when I told him it was from a Brazilian steakhouse he said that made sense. He said it was very chewy, and that the veggies on his burger really didn't add anything. I would probably get him the X-Tudo without salad to try next time. The buns were AMAZING. Just beautiful.
I got the lemon juice and got the strawberry for him. I loved mine, it is lime, super-tart, and very refreshing. Not a sweet drink for children, it was bracingly sour. Hubby said his was nice but not very strongly flavored, with the green strawberry flavor he doesn't really enjoy, like maybe some underripe berries were used.
I enjoyed the Misto Quente, which I would recommend as a weekday breakfast, as it is a manageable amount of food that will leave you satisfied but not needing a nap LOL. It is a nice little French roll with ham, fried egg, and cheese.
I tried the Croquete de Mandioca and the filling was good, but there was a lot of excess pastry around the edges I just discarded. The Kibe de Queijo was yummy to me, loaded with flavor in the meaty exterior and creamy gooey cheese interior. Hubby found the spices and herbs off-putting.
The buns alone are worth going for, and the Lemon juice is making my mouth water just...
Read moreMy husband and I went for the lunch buffet. The quality of the food was excellent, my husband said eating the roast pork was a religious experience it was so good. In addition to the pork, there was a beef dish (which I didn’t try) and fried fish for meats. There were several types of salads, the cucumber tomato one was especially good. There were mixed vegetables, black beans, rice, and a few other sides I didn’t really recognize. For dessert (not included in price of buffet) I got two donut type things, I’m not sure of what they were called. One was filled with vanilla cream and one was filled with dulce le leche (I’m guessing). They were both delicious. My husband got an Oreo popsicle out of the freezer, which he also claimed to be out of this world.
We only saw one person working the counter. He was very pleasant and answered our questions the best he could but we did have some language barrier issues. I look forward to trying Delicias de Minas for dinner as I believe they have steaks in addition to the buffet. Overall, excellent experience, glad we took a chance...
Read moreI visited this place due to other reviews. I learned that the buffet (Only) was $10 per person. This does not include drinks or deserts. With steak it was $21 per person. I chose the buffet. The place is big and served as a restaurant and a little market as well. I was disappointed at the choices of the buffet. It had only one meat as a choice and the meat was very fatty and greasy. But, it did have one fish as another choice. White rice and black bean with pork feet were the only main course. The black bean was very well seasoned and fitted well with the white rice. If you are looking for the traditional buffet experience this is not it. The people were nice and the...
