If I could give 0 stars I would. Me and my husband came here to eat some spanish food. I ordered a skirt steak that come with plantains, fries, rice, corn cakes, and lettuce? My husband ordered a Bandeja paisa. Which comes with rice, beans, corn cakes, avocado, pork sausage and steak. Also a beef stew soup. My food comes cold with no rice, as I ask for rice they tell me its extra. I in fact did not recieve a skirt steak instead I recieved a regular 8$ thin steak you buy at Walmart. My husband's food didn't bring steak instead it came with ground beef. No rice because we had to pay extra for that. The meat, beans and soup had 0 flavor. Literally tasted like nothing. While the corn cakes tasted like straight used oil. They charged me 18$ for a small soup that I didn't touch. As I asked for the cook to come out to ask him about the skirt steak and food; it was the same teenager server that took our order when we arrived. Who changed into being the cook? He comes out and tells me his parents taught him that skirt steak is the flat thin steak and he cant do much about it. His sister i suppose who's also young walks in and starts taking care of our table. The whole store is being ran by children while the parents or owners are I dont know where. I asked to take back my soup and our food that we would pay for our drinks and a partial of our food that we didn't eat or touch. And we got charged 55$, with a 20% discount. We left disappointed, hungry, and with a deduction of 55$ in our wallet. We also had 2 Jairitos fruit punch sodas and had to wait about 10min for them to open it until my husband walked up to their table where they had utensils to get a bottle opener to drink our warm sodas. Food 1 to 10 was a 2 and service was a 0. I will never go back. I dont know any restaurant that gives you a baby portion of beans without rice?? If you're going to eat here make sure you bring some salt or seasoning. Horrible...
Read moreI'm not sure where the previous reviewers ate, but it certainly wasn't this location. I asked for shrimp fajitas for lunch and was told that the mixed fajitas were only beef and chicken. I told her okay, but I didn't care what the mixed fajitas consisted of because I wanted shrimp fajitas. I even pointed it out to avoid confusion due to a language barrier. My spanish is pretty poor but I know enough to get by. She brought me the wrong order (there were no other orders so not sure what was up with that) and a salad. No toppings for the fajitas nor tortillas. I literally had to ask three times to get a slice of tomato out of her and couldn't get sour cream no matter how much I asked. I'm not even going to carry on about the absolute lack of flavor. NONE WHATSOEVER. Highly disappointing, will never return. Already left bad feedback to nearby business and they assured me they'd recommend La Hacienda before this place and they wished they would've known I was looking for something to eat as they would have warned me... highly...
