I have been there three times and each time it has been terrible. Below are further details of my experiences. Key Words: Careless Manager, Lazy Staff, Undertrained Staff, Slow Slow SLOW.
First Experience: Went through the drive thru, and it took approximately 20 mins before even pulling up to the window to pay for my order. After reviewing my three sandwiches, ALL THREE where completely made with either ingredients I did not ask for or missing ingredients. Keep in mind that there was no one else in the drive thru but me and when I pulled up to the window there were three people on staff with no signs of a rush inside of the store. Time: Approximately 6:30pm
Second Experience: I was waiting in the drive thru line for about 10 mins so I decided to go inside to order assuming it would be faster. To no surprise, I ended up in line behind two other customers for 20 mins. This is no exaggeration! They had two members on staff. One seemed to be an old lady (the manager I believe that is always in the back) and a young female. Once I got to place my order, another worker came in from the back and the manager said, "you've been back there for a couple of hours, where you not going to come out if we wouldn't have gotten you"? The worker said, "probably not" and they all laughed. (Sooo freaking funny when you have customers waiting and the life of the business is probably going to end because of your carelessness).Time Approximately 7:00-9:00pm.
Third Experience: (Recently within the past two days): I was waiting in line in the drive thru for a little under 10 mins behind another customer and decided to go inside to place my order. The only reason I chose to go inside was because the customer in front of me had not even started to place his order because the staff working the drive thru head set had not began to take his order. (Here is were it gets interesting). So I go inside and I am waiting in line for about 11 mins behind two customers when the guy that placed his order in the drive thru pulls up to the window and said he was missing something on his order and literally while that is going on at the window, another previous customer walks into the store and said her order was wrong...(Im already saying to myself "why do i put myself through this"). So while I am waiting behind what is now just one customer, I over hear the lady working the drive thru and another coworker discussing how she possibly just gave a previous customer a sandwich made with bread that was not completely done baking (all the while the manager is in the back doing manager stuff.
Conclusion: -Its likely that it is better to go to this subway before the night shift arrives -Night shift workers are under trained or careless -DO NOT GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU..unless you able to spend 20 mins or more just waiting -Regional Manager needs to remove or replace existing manager on night shift -Good location/A lot of potential but terrible service
I think I might go there one more time just to prove myself...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible customer service! I ordered my food online for curbside pickup. I pulled up to pick up my subs and nobody came out to deliver them. I drove to the drive-in window and there was a sign up saying the drive up window was closed. I drove back around to a parking spot and called and the phone....it rang and rang and rang. I walked inside to get my order. There was only two customers in there and no other cars outside so I know they saw me pull up. I asked for my order and they gave me my order and I left only to find out when I got to the traffic light that it was the wrong order. I had to drive all the way down St James to turn around. I went back into the store where there was only two more customers. I explained that they had given me the wrong order and they pointed to an order on the tray and did not even apologize until I said something to them giving me the wrong order. I asked to speak to the manager. I explained to her that I had to order my subs online and ordered curbside pickup. She did say she she was sorry about the mix-up on the order but she had a little grin on her face like.... Why are you bothering me with this. I told her I did not appreciate the bad customer service at that store and that I would go down to the subway on University boulevard for good customer service. Good customer service is the key. If you can't deliver good customer service then you will lose a lot of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to the Subway in Goose Creek South Carolina on Saint James Ave, placed my usual order on the app and was told they had no bread when I was at the window. The asked the young man how long would it be until the bread was finished and he said 40 minutes. I asked him could he put my tuna in a container with everything that my sub called for and I would come back for my other 2 subs since I was on lunch. He said fine, as i'm waiting in line 10 minutes a woman says I can't put your tuna in a container it has to be on bread. I said but you all don't have any bread. She said I know but you have to have it in bread š³ . Then she says you can just get refunded because i'm not giving you your tuna unless it's on bread. I tried working with them and not complaining about not being able to get what I ordered and I was treated so poorly. I asked for the manager and she said I am the manager. I asked for her manager and she said no you can't speak to my manager and I don't know when my manager will be here. I asked for her managers phone number and she said she doesn't have it. I asked for my refund because not i;m late for work and have nothing to eat and she said calm down wait and shut the window in my face. I will NEVER eat at any...
