I wish I could give this 0 stars. My husband and I decided to go to LA Hacienda 1-13-2024 for some Margarita's and an appetizer and after wanted to walk over to Sapphires to finish up our day drinking. We ordered 2 Margaritas and one sample platter which was 12.50 and both margs were 12.99/13.99. When the server brought the bill to my husband there were no itemized items just a total of 74.00!!! For 2 drinks and an appetizer?! My husband took his debit card out and put it on the bill and the server came over very fast and scooped his card up. Not even enough time for my husband to ask me how much I thought the bill was!! The server came back and quickly told us goodbye. I told my husband there was no way that our 2 drinks and one appetizer cost 74 dollars?!! We brought it to the servers attention who nervously dug thru the garbage trying to find the correct receipt and then ran to the back to hide!! He had charged us for another table as well as ours. We kindly asked for our 35 dollars back in which we were told that we would have to speak to the office manager....if that's what you would call her. This girl told us the manager was in the back dealing with something and told us we would be completely refunded the 74.00 within 2-3 days....BUT we had to pay OUR bill which was 38!!! Why not just give us back the cash we thought?! Would be an easy fix!!We were told NO several times and then asked to speak to the manager but were told he was busy, he wasn't there til 5.....Blah Blah Blah!! My husband pulled up our bank statement and said that we at that time were not charged the 74.00 so we paid OUR bill and left. They never did take the 74.00 out of our account and only charged us the 38...what we owed!! It was such a run around we will never ever ever step foot into this place again. After leaving this restaurant we heard from other people that this has happened to them as well. Beware of this place as we feel the server was trying to pull one on us!! Also.....the appetizer was not good at all and we got better Margaritas...
Read moreMy favorite Mexican restaurant. I always get the California burrito with sour cream instead of guacamole and the beans instead of rice. Don’t forget to get sour cream on the side and queso with chips.
My friends and I friends are regulars here. Pretty nice bar area with affordable daily, happy hour Margarita specials.
We come here to, get away, talk, get a drink and many other times, just to get a good meal.
There is an outside seating area. I am not sure if they allow dogs in that area. However, it is directly on the sidewalk. I would NOT eat there but many people do . Too many people walking by for me.
This is the only La Hacienda restaurant that I will eat at in this area. They are NOT all the same. I believe I have tried each location. The only one I would even attempt to go to again is the one by Tanger outlet.
I’ve been going to this particular La Hacienda for over 8 years. They have been pretty consistent . The food is always hot. The drinks are usually amazing and the restaurant clean.
The staff does not talk much. That’s OK. I appreciate the quality meals. Can’t ask for much more.
Restrooms stay clean . Tables are wiped as soon as people get up.
Great for groups. Good for dining alone and also cool for date nights as there is an area off to the side that is kind of private.
This is definitely the place I will always come back to when I want something that I know...
Read moreI rarely take the time to leave a negative review, but my recent experience at La Hacienda in Goose Creek, SC was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share. I’ve ordered drinks from various locations in Charleston multiple times, but my drinks I ordered today was off and tasted strange. The one drink tasted like it came straight from a Sprite machine that was overdue for a change—it was overwhelmingly sweet and had an odd bleach-like aftertaste.
I kindly asked our waitress to remove the drinks from the bill after she said she wouldn't remake them. I was told by the manager, Mario, that we still had to pay for them. While the cost wasn’t an issue, the real problem was being asked to pay for drinks that were undrinkable. I pride myself on being a loyal customer, a generous tipper, and someone who values excellent customer service, but this experience fell short in every way. The drinks were off all together, my margarona tasted like salt favored water.
This will be my last visit to this location. I’ll stick with the one in North Charleston. Hopefully, the staff can train the team here on how to provide proper customer service and make drinks accordingly. Thanks La Hacienda of Goocreek for ruining a much...
