They called the police on me. Lol
There was 6 of us. Not busy at all. We were able to walk in and seat ourselves at a table near the bar. My friend ordered a philly cheesesteak just meat and cheese. My fiance ordered a burger with mozzarella. We ordered fried mushrooms and cheese curds as an appetizer. Cheesesteak came loaded with onions and peppers. Burger came with wrong cheese. After waiting so long and my other friend getting his 20 wings and I didn't get any of the 10 I ordered, I told the server to cancel my wing order (10 wings). She said are you sure? I said yes. Do not bring them out. I do not want them. Everyone was almost done eating at this point.
They bring the wings out anyways. I didn't eat a single one. I repeated "I cancelled this order of wings". They bring the check and the wings I cancelled and said to not bring out, are on the check. I said I'm not paying for them, I didn't even touch them and I cancelled the order before they were brought out.
The, what I'm assuming is a manager, but hopefully isn't because she obviously is completely clueless as to how to manage a bar, comes out and starts verbally attacking me. I tell her the situation and she says I'm just "being mean", and that I can't cancel a order after it's started cooking lol well, the problem is, it started cooking, after everyone else got their food. I refused to pay for the wings I didn't want and she threatened to call the police. Sure enough, lol, this dumb broad has wasted the time of 2 Goose Creek police officers over a $10 order of chicken wings. I wasn't refusing my entire bill. I refused to pay for the wings. That's it.
And even though the police were involved, I still left with 10 chicken wings sitting on the table where I sat, and a tab minus the chicken wings lol
4 out of 6 of our orders were wrong. The cheesecurds were fried to the point of sticking together so they were just clumps of dough with no cheese, the philly cheesesteak came with peppers and onions when he specifically said no peppers and onions, my fiance's burger was supposed to get mozzarella cheese and she got cheddar, our friends tuna steak that she ordered rare was cooked to death, and the fried mushrooms that we specifically ordered as an appetizer didn't come until everyone was halfway done with their food (but still before my food came, and they wonder why I cancelled?).
Avoid this place at all cost. It used to be one of my favorites, but if you're going to call the cops on me over $10 that you screwed up, you'll never get my or a friend of mines dime.
And here's a picture to ensure you don't make the mistake of going here,...
Read more10 wings and fries asked for them to be made a specific way and size. The fries was the only thing made right. The wings were slimy with lots of sauce to cover it up. I was told they made my order the way I wanted which is a lie I asked for extra crispy was told ok, was repeated back what I requested; the wings were soft slimy and didn’t have not one part of fried texture, look, feel just slimy saucy wings. I paid almost $30 dollars for just those two things. The price isn’t a problem; but when it’s not what I ask for, it’s a problem. I was told by the female who answered the phone. That they can make it again, or call the owner and ask if she can give me a refund. Went and took it back just to be told differently that they can’t fry it longer because of the timer, they don’t give refunds, and there’s no need to redo the order because they have a timer for them. That should of and needed to be said when I initially asked and expressed how I wanted them when I was ordering them, it also should and needed to be said when I called back to inform them that my order is wrong. If that’s how you do business that’s fine, but be vocal about it before people spend their hard...
Read moreSo first and foremost the service was exceptional. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Now down to the nitty gritty, cute establishment but not very user friendly for larger people. We started out in a corner booth (our mistake as its seat yourself) very skinny but long table with not a lot of space. Unfortunately there was a puddle under our table and my spouse slipped getting up knocking into the table spilling our drinks everywhere. We decided to eat outside after that which was fine. The food tasted great ( we had the curds and wings) my only real suggestions with the food is that the curds were a bit cool (not cold but not as hot as I would have expected) the wings were slightly overcooked. And that ticket times of food coming out could be timed (fired) a bit better. For us it was the wings were gonna take 15 minutes which is fine but that should mean the curds are fired after the wings. It’s not a huge deal breaker but could be better.
Overall consensus is it worth another shot? Sure why not, great service, great taste, just a few...
