My family has driven outta our way to this business 5 different times now and they are never opened. Their door sign says they close at 7:00. But in actuality they close whenever they feel like it. Many days they close between 3:00-5:00pm & they just put a sign on the door saying sorry, closed early, ran out of donuts. How do you run out of donuts when you have all the supplies to make more?? Makes no sense. This is why I prefer to visit Krispy creme. They’re more professional & never close early. They make donuts all day long. Daily donuts is always sold out, and refuses to make more, they just close their doors instead.
We were able to buy donuts from them one time out of 5 trips. They were sold out of the kind we wanted (of course) so I got donut holes. The lady that owns & runs the place was very rude. Not pleasant at all. She also refused to sell me only 2 dozen donut holes. She said since I’m paying by debit card I must buy 3 dozen. I must spend a certain amount of money for her to accept my debit card. Very strange. I didn’t need 3 dozen, but was forced to buy them. She threw all 3 dozen in one single back very quickly. The bag was very small and it didn’t look like 36 donuts, so I politely asked her if there were 36 donuts in the one bag. She got very hateful with me for no reason, and snatched the bag back from me, dumped all the donuts out on the cart, and hatefully said “You want me count them in front of you!” Which she did. Then quickly handed me my bag, blew me off & took the next guest. I’m being 100% honest when I say this lady is very unpleasant. She should be grateful for all customers. And way more polite.
So due to the fact daily donuts is always closing hours early, instead of following the hours they have on their store window, and because they’re always out of most donuts and will not make more, and due to the owner’s poor attitude. I rate daily donuts a 2. Also, I nearly forgot. They obviously only make all donuts once a day and just let them sit all day. Because our donut holes were stale. One more thing, the owner wasn’t just rude to me.. I noticed she was rude to one of you guys as well here in the review section. Someone else about a year ago had complained about the store always closing early too.. she replied back with a snappy response. But daily donuts is closed all day on Mondays, and they close very early every other day of the week. Do not go by the sigh on their door, or the hours on their website. They close their doors whenever they feel like it. Hours early every day. Make sure you call ahead before you waste so much time, energy and gas in your car, before you go up there. I promise you they’ll be closed way earlier than their hours say. They always are. Family owned businesses do what they want.
UPDATE: Owners are EXTREMELY rude and can’t even handle constructive criticism in their reviews. Their responses to the comments of paying customers is always rude and condescending. They’re not appreciative of their customers.. a professional business owner NEVER speaks condescendingly to a customer. The customer is always right. These people need to re-evaluate their poor attitudes. Never met such rude...
Read moreRarely do I post a review for anything, but the consistent experience I’ve had at Daily Donuts - for the past three or four years I’ve known about them - truly warrants all the hype. After my first visit, and for each visit in between, I find myself telling anyone interested that they must try Daily Donuts. The breakfast croissants are just…buttery, flaky, savory, deliciousness! I always get the #7 — turkey, egg and cheese croissant. Now, THE DONUTS…hands down best donuts I’ve ever had. I could honestly say that I will eat an entire half-dozen of the plain, glazed donuts by myself. They are chef’s kiss perfection — so moist and fluffy! After moving, I’d been dreaming of the day I get to have my usual Dose of Daily Donuts and today was the day! I was so elated to see they were bustling at 8:00 am this morning. The person who was taking orders was kind, efficient, and patient as I carefully thought out which delicious donuts would make the cut.
Enough can’t be said. DONUT...
Read morePretty sure these are the best donuts anywhere. I've been coming here for years with my family and every single time it's been amazing. My particular favorites are the cinnamon twists and the donut holes! They have everything: cake donuts, yeast donuts, filled donuts, glazed, plain, donuts with powdered or cinnamon sugar... I'm drooling thinking about all the options.
But the best part? The owners. In particular the older lady (I should ask her name!) is always patient while we decide what we want, and she tucks in extras for my little brother, which always makes his day.
If I ever need snacks for a bunch of people, I stop by here and make everyone happy in five minutes. Take it from me: you'll never get better donuts anywhere else in the Triad or Triangle. 10000/10. Make your office happy, delight your niece for her quinceanera, hear all the kids scream for joy when you show up with a few boxes of these at a birthday party. You absolutely cannot go wrong with...
