We had an awesome meal at Love and Tacos today! I had a strawberry mezcalita, which included a salt and ground almond rim - super interesting and delicious. We started with some yummy queso and chips. I had two tacos, a shrimp and a fish. They were delicious, especially with either of the (very spicy) sauces that came on the side. My husband had the birria taco platter, which was INCREDIBLE! It reminded me of an amazing Mexican version of a French dip. The birria meat was flavorful and tender, and the broth for dipping on the side was so savory and comforting - like a comforting warm blanket in a little bowl. I want to live in that broth. Our server also brought us some other less-spicy sauces - I know he said that one of them is served with the chilaquiles. They were amazing on the tacos and with the chips. Service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very casual - there is a nice patio, as well as a bar area with a big TV. We were extremely happy with our meal and will be...
Ā Ā Ā Read more5 stars across the board. We'd heard good things about this new place and stopped by to check it out. As soon as we walked in the service and attention were top notch, but not over-the-top. We were warmly greeted and seated promptly. Our server checked with us periodically, but again not too often. The food was excellent and not what you find in most area Mexican places. And contrary to another reviewer, they do bring chips and salsa to you for a starter. Beer-wise they only have Red Oak and Mich Ultra on tap but have a variety of bottles. The bar is fully appointed and our drinks, both Monday specials, were very tasty. They even brought us complimentary samples of their strawberries and cream dessert - decadent! They've added outdoor seating to the building so when this heat lets up it will be super nice to sit outside. Someone also said their A/C wasn't up to par, but it was nice and cool in there during our visit. ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family and I went here for the first time as a ālast resortā for Fatherās Day and it quickly became a new favorite place to eat! We tried birria tacos with beans and rice, birria quesadilla with a side of fruit and veggies, and even my 3 year old loved the birria so we got her a taco! It was a great change from chicken nuggets. We sampled horchata and it was amazing along with a few other homemade juice beverages. Cucumber lime was so refreshing! Even the rice pudding was good! We got a good amount of food and it wasnāt anymore expensive than anywhere else local.
The waiter was patient and kind with our kids, even with their chaos. He was able to make great recommendations and shared some of their awesome ideas for the future.
I think this place is a great addition to Graham! We...
