Update: went back a year later new location quite larger but the food is just OK. Chips n salsa are good, service was good. Food is just OK. We ordered cowboy queso for our chips. No flavor. Bland cheese.. Flour tortillas are really good on the small side but good. My combo plate was a taco, beef tostada cheese enchilada rice n beans. Best thing was the enchilada. The charro beans are tasty. We waited awhile for a table. Once we got seated service was quick. My husband ordered combo fajitas which he says we're dry n tough

2023 Chips n salsa are good. The charro beans are amazing. I ordered the chicken breast with cheese spinach. Chicken was dry n tough. Yuck. The rice is dry and has no flavor to it. (Tasted reheated) not fresh at all.. My husband had the super Mexican plate with enchiladas, taco ,refried beans,, rice tostada. He regretted getting refried beans finished off my charro beans. They were so good. Cheese enchiladas are awesome. Crispy taco was ok. Found it odd you must pay extra if you want tortillas with your plate. Thats not good. They get 3 stars for cheese enchiladas. The food was okay. The chips and salsa and queso were good. However, the food was dry, not impressive by any means. I wouldn't go here again. The margaritas were good but weak in tequila. It was more of a virgin slush for nearly $10 a piece. The food was dry, not a lot of flavor, minimal sauce on my chicken sour cream enchiladas. It was shredded chicken wrapped in a white corn tortilla with some sour cream, something something on it. No cheese in the enchilada. The rice and beans were the same everywhere. I tried the soft cheese tacos, and the cheese wasn't melted inside. It was almost like they used fake cheese in or on them. The avacado tostada just a dollup of guacamole on a tostada shell. We added the kettuce and tomatoes to it, which made it good and fresh, probably the best thing on the table. The service was great and the staff were friendly. It was busy too, which is good. It was also decorated like a sports bar. That doesn't matter, but for a family restraunt, there were sure a lot of lit up beer signs just...

I'll keep this one brief. Chips and salsa, very good and the salsa was definitely fresh. The food, overpriced and medicine to say the least. We had the steak fajita nachos, overcooked, bland and minimal. The cup of queso was decent, though a bit simple (powder cheese, maybe). The side of guacamole was ok, fresh but lacked any flavor. We had four different frozen margaritas, all of which were very weak. Compared to how they're served at the other location in Stephenville, they weren't even close. They all lacked any garnishes, asked for salt rim, received none on two. The strawberry margarita was bland and had no rim, as it's presented elsewhere. Alcohol content was minimal (watered down), even after having them add an extra shot of Patron. Overpriced, definitely at $11+/ea.! That's the "bad", though good food and drinks are a big portion of any restaurant visit, right?

The service was good and the place was packed. However, with an early closing time at 9:30pm, on a Friday night, they were quick to rush us out.
