Taco Bell — Restaurant in Grand Blanc Charter Township

Fantastic Taco Bell most of the time, my go to location even though I have one closer to home. My only big problem with this location is that I almost never get my extra meat when I order it. I try to order Nacho BellGrande's with extra meat every time I get them, never a noticeable amount of extra beef. The last few times I've ordered Crunchwrap's I've asked for light lettuce and extra meat, and it still comes out quite thin, with seemingly the same amount if not less meat than you'd get normally. This isn't the only thing they skimp on sometimes, my GF gets Guac on a lot of different things and they almost always only put a very small amount on it.

I wouldn't be bothered if it seemed equal to how they normally do stuff, like when you ask for extra beans or sour cream, they mess you up with some beans and sour cream, but for things like Meat or Guac they almost always skimp out super hard. This last time I was genuinely getting mouthfuls of Jalapeno sauce in the middle of my crunchwrap, and basically no meat. If there were actually extra on it you'd be able to tell, because I also get it without extra and it feels nearly identical. I just want to get what I'm paying for when I ask for extra.

Other than those issues, fantastic location, always getting hot and fresh food, the workers are all efficient and friendly people. At first when they started doing the "One Car at a Time" method I was annoyed, but its clear now after they hit their stride that they get food out a lot faster than they did before so its...

Disappointing... So it's been a good while since I've written a review. The fact that I am willing to do it at 2:49AM, after my quality Saturday evening, should mean something. This is a newer store and clearly, whomever the PIC/manager is, needs to do better with their people. I've been here less than 10 times since it's opened and can say that most of my visits have been OK. There was the night they were out of both beef and steak, where I had to get chicken, but until tonight, my orders had been simple and in return had not been messed up... Then there was tonight... I order and bean and rice burrito and three shredded chicken mini-quesadillas. Simple, right? All $1 menu stuff with minimal items. I pull up to the window, the girl goes to give me my change...a simple penny...doesn't put it in my hand and it goes to the ground...oops..sorry...window closes...shortly thereafter, I get my food...hands it to me..."Have a good night." Now I could give an eff about a penny, but if I was handing to someone else and I dropped it, I would handle it, out of respect and courtesy...but this wasn't my issue... My issue was three UNHEATED shredded chicken, mini quesadillas...Really???? The meat was warm, sauce cool, and cheese unmelted...Were they dollar menu items? Yes...should they still have been properly prepared? You bet! Before you ask if it was busy...NOT AT ALL...one car pulled up to order after I had already paid... Get it together people...or other will drive an extra mile to avoid...

This evening I had a horrible experience at this store. After I drive for DD/GH/UE. When I arrived at the store, it was around 8pm, dark outside, and no one was in the lobby. I assumed the lobby was closed and got in the very long line for the drive thru. I get to the speaker, after waiting almost 15 minutes, tell them the name, and they tell me to proceed to the window. After another 10 minute wait, the guy GRABS THE BAG OF FOOD, and brings it to the window, and as he does, a squeaky voice behind him starts yelling to tell me to park and come in and get my order. The food, was a foot away from my window, after waiting over 20 minutes in line. They could have told me at the speaker and I would have came right in. So, after waiting in line, seeing the bag of food, I pulled around and parked and went in. ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES IGNORED ME FOR ANOTHER 5 MINUTES.

These people are either all brand new and being ran by an incompetent manager, or they just don’t care. Also, they play the game with a timer from the speaker to the window. They have you either wait before they take your order, or they have you wait after to pull up, so they can manipulate the tracking system that Taco Bell has in place.

I honestly would avoid this restaurant...
