KFC — Restaurant in Grand Forks

I have been to this KFC at least 50 times in my 56 years here in Grand forks. Every other time except for this visit was a very good one. This visit was probably the worst eating experiences I have ever had. First of all I walked into the restaurant and they had the hip hop music blaring. Hey I have nothing against music but the decibel level was over the top. I approached the counter and there was a individual starring at me and didn't say much just a few words I could not understand also with the music beat drowning out his mumbling I knew somehow I should place my order. I asked for the two piece chicken dinner. The guy screams two piece chicken to some other guy in the back by the fryers then he screams back two piece chicken. Now remember the music is loud so both of them proceeded to get even louder the funny thing is there only five or six feet apart. Then the first gentalmen behind the counter grabs a cup and flips it in front of me continuing to stare at me. So I took my cup proceeded to get my diet Pepsi. After pouring my drink I noticed no straws so I take my lid off throw it away and drink out of the cup which I really didn't care at that point if I had a straw or not after being hypnotised by the person who took my order. I sat down and waited expecting that great KFC chicken. Then a 300 pound individual with obvious limited social interactions with people brought out a tray mumbled something which god knows what and tosses the tray of food which was mine by the way three feet on the counter in front of him I got up and retrieved my food. When I sat down to eat I looked my tray over coleslaw looks good, mashed potatoes and gravy looked good and I had my biscuit ok now the chicken. When I looked at my chicken it was the greasiest, nastiest overdone chicken I had ever seen. My tray under the chicken literally had a quarter inch of Grease which looked like old burnt slimy grease. The chicken looked like it was ten days old. And it was burnt and smelled terrible. I tried to take the skin off the breast and it came off in one slimy piece. The chicken underneath was pink and not done. when I pulled on the meat it was like rubber. Well I ate my coleslaw, biscuit and potatoes and I wasn't about to get food poisoning again because I've had that before and would rather not go that route. So I took my tray and proceeded to go to the counter. At the counter there was no one at the till all the employees were back behind the fryers having some type of disagreement. So I threw my food in the garbage and walked out the door because the personnel on that night obviously didn't give a damn about me or my order. My advice eat somewhere else the whole dining experience was absolutely terrible and KFC should be ashamed of this KFC on Washington Street in...

Was told it would be 10 minutes for white chicken. Waited 25 before I decided to go in and see what the hold up was. They had forgotten about my order. No apology. Had I not gone in, I guess we never would have gotten it. Once it was handed to me, with zero words, I checked it. Of course there was no white meat which is what we'd agreed to wait on. I handed it back and they said they fixed it. This time I was given the wrong sides. Im not sure how they completely forget the order but then cannot even get it right with my receipt in their hand. 3rd time it was finally correct. I understand mistakes happen but it was the lack of consideration from the employee. The chicken also was like it had not been drained a second and was dripping with dark grease. This comes after I did a mobile order and was forced to go outside to get my phone and show them it was my order, even though the orders are hidden behind the counter and I told her all the information of the order. When I then brought my phone in, she tried to grab it from me and said she needed to see the order number to confirm it was mine. There was no reason for this. There were no other orders there. The place was dead. She saw the details of the order on my screen she made me go get. She was only trying to make it as hard on me as possible.Newsflash this is a 5$ box of chicken, not a TV from best buy. And this comes after the first bad experience when i took my daughters to the drive thru. They both had summer jobs and wanted kfc because of the fries. So they were buying. When we get the order, there were no fries, only mashed potatoes. I went back inside to ask them to correct it. Of course i got no apology. The lady actually seemed frustrated and had the nerve to tell me there just arent anymore fries made and shes not going to cook anymore. She said I'll give you extra mashed potatoes for the trouble. We expected to go fo KFC to get food like a normal person would. Instead me, a grown women gets ditched at by a teenage boy. First we get there, the car in front of us places the order and so we scoot up. After waiting about ten fifteen minutes I call auto zone to figure things out for my car. The boy comes back and he says something so I think it's time to order. Instead he says "ma'am I'm not taking your order. I only came back to tell you it's going to take longer". His tone was unnecessary when saying this. I keep my cool and say okay and I continue to wait. The women three cars behind me throws her arms up so I tell her that he's the only one there and it's gonna take about twenty or thirty minutes. The boy then comes back and says "ma'am it has not been thirty minutes, you can leave. Im not serving you. I will call the police and have you removed and arrested". For what? For waiting and telling the lady behind us that it's going to be a while? So just because I'm waiting to order with my kids in the car he's gonna call the police and have me along with my kids arrested for not leaving due to us just wanting to order some food. We had a rough day, I figured my daughter's would love to go to their place and get some food so I could cheer them up. Instead we get threatened to be arrested and ditched at by some teenage boy because his manager left him there all alone. We were more then willing to wait but instead we had to leave or risk being in a bigger situation that was unnecessary. In general my daughters couldn't even be cheered up and Instead the day got even worse for them. This so called customer service turned out to just be the worker threatening me and my young daughter just for informing the lady behind us it would be a bit of a wait like any other person would. My daughter's just wanted to go to their favorite food place and enjoy something they loved but...
