Wendy's — Restaurant in Grand Forks

I AM MAKING A HUGE COMPLIMENT! I AM A DASHER! I was picking up food and I brought my service animal and this rude ass worker saying he owns Wendy's lol anyways started to give me a bitchy attitude! And complaining about my job how I'm not allowed to do this and that for doordash lol and he was saying do I bring my animal everywhere lol and my service animal.... He said I'm not allowed to bring him anymore.... So he was acting all show off saying bad stuff like I don't know what I'm doing... He complains about it his allergies I'm like dude? Where's your bracelet? To warn people you have allergies and how I suppose to hell know you have allergies!💢 He could been nicer instead being an ass !so I walked away to not deal with this he keeps saying wow just walk away ! I don't deal with Karen's! So I already complained to the Wendy's actual company! And they fealt bad what I went through the guy said he didn't yell lol ahh.... I got...

The manager was very obviously on meth as he wouldn't stop twitching and tapping on everything. Halfway thru taking my order he left to go take a drive thru order. When I complained he refused me my food. Then I called corporate to complain and they assured me I would get a call within 72 hours with the detail of how they handled it. Fast forward a week and I called back only to be told the regional manager quit and they would escalate the case and again call me back within 72 hours. Another week goes by and I call today and finally talked to the first person with any sense. He proceeded to "tell it to me straight" and admit that they handle these things internally and I would not be receiving a call back. So after being lied to twice, I was finally told the truth on the third call; that they don't punish irresponsible meth heads, they let them manage...

I don't normally review fast food places, but tonight Wendy's went above and beyond in service recovery. I came in for supper, ordered up their harvest salad. A while after I ordered and paid the front counter member waved me over. They didn't have the harvest salad. He was very apologetic. Offered up any other salad. I was good with the change, all their salads are excellent. I picked the apple one and he offered up a shake for my inconvenience... I'm trying to eat slightly more healthy. He was very insistent that I get something so I went with a small fry. He was happy to get me a large fry and offered to bring my meal out to me. I get the salad and it is HUGE! Tastes great. Couldn't be happier. Thanks for the above and beyond in a "speed over service" type of...
