Sporty's Bar — Restaurant in Grand Haven

If you like drunk townies, then this is the bar for you! Did you stay home when all your friends went off to college to make something of themselves? Are you still working that same job you had in high school; even though you're 34 years old? Well then you will fit in perfectly at this bar. Forget those social norms that say that you shouldn't wear a tube top in 2018, and party like it's 1986. Order a PBR, suck it down along with 6 of its friends. Then go smoke in the parking lot while treating the other customer's cars like a mosh pit. Don't worry about the local 5-0, they're all on the other side of 31. Stop getting drunk by yourself in your parents basement!

Just remember to tip the waitstaff, they actually do...

Amazing food, I try to get something different everytime and they don't disapoint! They're biscuits and gravy are incredible, pancakes and french toast are phenomenal!! The food is always consistent...best breakfast place in Grand Haven! Forget the DeeLite, Morning Star, or Stanz...this is the best food in Grand Haven. It might not be the most popular place in town, but if you want delicious food, you come here! Best breakfast place in town for tourists, locals and everyone else!! It's Grand Haven's best kept...

So my buddy and I grabbed lunch at Sporty’s Bar and it was good. Living here for almost 50 years I had not been here before but knowing that Jim is managing/owner now I wanted to try it out. We had burgers, fries, and ice cold beers. Although they can’t cook the burger to order (I like medium rare), the burger was still juicy and not overcooked. Atmosphere was very nice, not what I expected. Cool bar and clean. Bartender was great too and other diners...
