Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Grand Island

Grrrr horrible. Their system was down and the girl really made a bad situating worse. Not only did she have a full argument with someone in the back, but she didn't try to offer any resolution/solutions. The issue was simple, place a online order for pick up...due to the cash register was down. No cash excepted. So from people out of state (not that she knew or cared) but could of suggested making the food while we download the app and place the order, except the cash and ring the items up when the system was up (with cash) . Our just simply close the store. This was a big inconvenience to the customers. Then go figure the system stop letting us make orders to add drinks, due to online wouldn't let you add drinks... Now due to the time of night and orders being placed was past the time to place online orders. Still just "Oh I'm sorry you can't get drinks because our system will be short or the inventory".... GIRL! Again no type of resolution... Then the food was old and they were cleaning up and not putting new food out. We just drove 6 hours and every where was about to close..because we should of went else where. My fault... Someone needs to be able to handle those tuff situations and be able to provide resolution without inconvenienceing...

Delicious and great for my first time trying. only 2 issues, 1 was half hour wait in pick up lane because being newly opened only a couple of weeks it seems people don't understand that it is not a drive thru like Mc Donald's or Burger King. They can't read that the sign clearly says "Mobile order pick up window." With an arrow. Two vehicles drove off during the wait. Overheard one vehicle talking about how he had been waiting for 25 minutes and vehicle behind said they had already ordered and paid. Front said was ridiculous to wait that long and drove off. Pickup between myself and other car drove off also. But server at window was top notch and polite, very pleasant young man. Asked for name on order and handed me my food. I'm sure he was having to deal with some disgruntled customers thinking it was a drive through but did his best to serve them. My only other issue was that they forgot utensils in the bag. But I grabbed some at my hotel. All in all was a learning experience and the food was great. I definitely will order...

I love Chipotle! We make sure to get burritos any time we are in Lincoln or Omaha. One opening so close in GI was super exciting for us. Having eaten three separate times so far at this location, I’m super disappointed. Staff doesn’t seem to be organized very well, the rice has been bland, and we’ve had two separate instances where employees couldn’t figure out how to wrap the burrito and had to ask for help from other employees. I would think that a super successful chain like Chipotle would be managed better, but I’m a little worried so far. Will gladly change my rating if things change but I might wait to get Chipotle until I’m in Lincoln it Omaha...
