Me and my wife love Andy’s!! I am from Wisconsin and there are so many custard options in Wisconsin compared to here in Dallas. I found its slim pickings trying to find a good custard place. Look no further this is the best spot I have found in DFW. I have been to a few other Andy Locations, Colleyville, Mansfield and all deliver excellent service and custard ice cream. I have tried Culver’s and they are good but Andy’s is another level of above them. They have that old school order at the window and color feel, but at the same time modernized. They have several flavors to choose from and “ALL” of them are amazing. Custard is a much richer and smoother flavor/texture of ice cream. It’s an excellent bring the family and or cute date night spot. I have told so many people about this place. After church events we’ll go here with friends and other couples. If you’re going for simple cone you can’t go wrong with the old fashion cone and vanilla ice cream. My favorites: Turtle Sundae w/o the cherry Caramel Vanilla Shake
My wife’s Old fashion vanilla ice cream cone Custom concrete: Peanut butter, hot fudge and vanilla...

I WISH THEY WOULD BUILD AN ANDY'S IN LANCASTER, TX, WHERE WE LIVE. I SAW A PLACE THAT WOULD BE PERFECT FOR THEM TO COME, WITH LOTS OF TRAFFIC AND BUSINESSES.
WE GO TO THE ONE IN GRAND PRAIRIE, TX. IT'S WELL WORTH THE TRIP. GOD BLESS YOU ANDY'S FROZEN CUSTARD, AND YOUR WONDERFUL STAFF....
Read moreUpdate - Decided to give them another try since I wanted a shake and had only had the custard that I previously found to be fine but nothing special. I got the double double malt. It's advertised as double thick with malt powder and chocolate syrup, but ours was super thin and milky. No malt flavor, and not much chocolate either.
Once again, for the price I paid it's really not worth it. To top it off service was a bit rude this time since it was later in the evening and only teens were working. Won't be back.
Original review - It's expensive for what you get, and it's just frozen custard. It's not all that special. The toppings make it better, but overall it's just another frozen dessert place in the area. I am disappointed that the building is...
