Burger King — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

Probably worst burger king I've ever been too. This is my first time leaving a review for anything, ever, i feel that strongly. My first try there two and a half years ago we went inside to order food to go. The manager was working at the counter. She gave my son the wrong food, he noticed as soon as we got to the door. He turned around and politely told her he'd got the wrong order and she started screaming at him that he was a thief. I thought she was joking but she wasn't. I should have complained to corporate but i didn't, i just vowed not to go there again. I gave it a year and a half, then finally caved because it's two blocks from my house. They were advertising some new chicken nuggets so i tried them. They were horrible, they tasted like the grease was really, really old and not hot enough because they were grease bombs. I threw most of them away. Then when the mac and cheetos came out i tried again, same thing, they tasted like stale old grease. My teen sons wouldn't even eat them. Ive tried both items at other BKs and they were fine. Three other times in the last year (including tonight, about an hour ago) I've stopped there in the evening (like 8 or 9pm) when the lobby should be open (lobby til 11pm, drive through to 1 am) and all the doors were locked. It wasn't for a quick minute, either, tonight i tried at 9:20 and again at 9:45, doors locked, no one visible inside. My husband has stopped the a few times and the food was bad every time. I give up, I'm never going there again. Not one good or even mediocre experience. This is the worst burger I've ever been to, the worst fast food restaurant, and the worst restaurant in general that I've ever been to. I don't understand how they are still open and haven't lost their franchise from making burger...

I've used this location multiple times, and now that I have an Exchange student who is a vegitarian Burger King gives me an option to feed the whole house. Tonight I go there, and find two people in the drive thru fighting due to how long the ordering process was taking. I was able to have patience through that and stayed in line. She was a nice and polite lady, however you could tell that there was lack of training. I repeated each part of my order at least once. From the King jr. Meals all the way to the simple 2 for $5 ordering a whopper and Classic Chicken Sandwich. I get the order, and I guess shame on me for trying to get the food to my family. I was shorted a Chicken sandwich, and one of the kids meals was supposed to be a double Cheeseburger, it was a single. And on top of all of that... IT WAS COLD!!! Like it sat in the bag waiting for I'm not sure what. But nothing like a family hungry and what you bring home is cold burgers. I will not be back to this location, 1 time... Ok it's just an off night. But repeated offenses? Service is always slow, and aside from the nice people saying sorry for the wait... It's normally an attitude of "I don't care". Sad. This... I live near this location and I feel the need to leave a review because the last multiple times I have visited, it's been sub-par, slow, unsatisfactory service. Going into the hottest week of the year, the shake machine and slushie machines are broken. Hot and sweaty, I asked for drinks with extra ice since both machines are broken. I got large drinks with like 2 chunks of ice each. When I asked if that was they best they could do, the young man said I should have asked for extra, which I did. He did offer a small cup of ice. He also provided coffee stir straws instead of regular straws. The wait is always longer than average. Management is poor. The last time I went through I ordered two drinks for my daughter and I and waited more than 20 min before I left the drive through lane empty-handed. My husband hates going to this location because he hates cheese on his burger and they insist on putting cheese on his burgers regardless of how he asks for no cheese. I could go on but I think you...
