I visited here for the first time recently but it will quite possibly be my last visit. Upon entering this establishment the atmosphere seemed quite friendly. However, in stark contrast the service (or lack thereof) was not. The employee behind the counter offered me nothing more than a blank stare. After placing my order in a very monotone way they offered me my total. I then watched for the next twenty to thirty minutes while the same employee washed and dried dishes before ever creating my order. After finally completing my order the employee brought it to my table then slammed it down in front of me. I very warmly said, "Thank You...have a great day" and yet they still said nothing. If not for the supreme taste of the drink I consumed this establishment would have left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I understand that as human beings we all have bad days. Squibb is the perfect place to host your event, at an affordable price compared to so many places with over the top minimums and rental fees. I've been to 3 private events at this location (2 wedding rehearsal dinners and 1 reunion) and I'm trying to think of more reasons to rent because it's always worked out so well. Mallory is responsive, easy to work with and I cannot recommend her and her shop enough!
The space holds up to 60 guests and serves coffee, beer, wine and other non-alcoholic drinks so there's something for everyone. You can pay per drink or they have drink packages available. They'll even let you cater in from other companies if you want full food service. In two instances we catered from outside vendors for dinner service and the third time opted for the charcuterie through Squibb. The charcuterie was beautifully presented and had a nice assortment.
Overall, great service and ambiance. Highly encourage you to consider this place for your next...

It doesn’t have the intimate coffeehouse feel that I usually prefer, but after a few minutes I realized it’s more of a workspace cafe. Probably 85% of the patrons were working in some fashion, without much socializing or hanging out. I had a very smooth and flavorful latte and an exceptional oatmeal cream pie. The detail that gives Squibb 5 stars to me was the music - they played some great albums all the way through, which I always admire in public spaces. I’m looking forward to returning on my next trip to...
